Quick questions…Is it possible to have the info pane on the left automatically be present on page load? Is it just a flip in the script or something like that?

It is a “flip the switch” type of thing. However, since the sidebar “pushes” the page to the right (making 300px on the right hidden), I wouldn’t recommend having it open by default.
A light version is definitely possible. Just depends on demand. 99% of the design is achieved via CSS , though, so making color changes is super easy.

Oh, you need to customize the menu for the pages you actually have. The index.html page is the same as the other gallery pages in the demo site, so you can use that to create additional gallery pages.
