Music, audio, soundtracks and soundscapes
Automatom is the musical alter-ego of Thomas Jordan, a multi-genre musician and producer from northern New Hampshire. Drawing from a wide range of musical feeds, he aims for a sonic blend of interweaving guitar and piano, driving electro beats, catchy dance anthems, psychedelic ambient grooves, and rock fusion overtones. Tom works as a studio musician, producing and selling music to internet sources. Also a performer in multiple groups, with experience in live audio mixing, he often collaborates with other performers.
Tom likes to dip into retro styles, with a heavy love affair for the sonic emotions of 1980s and the rocky funk of the 1960s/70s, while at the same time staying ahead of the curve with the newest sounds in music. Influences include: Daft Punk, deadmau5, Boards of Canada, Moby, and classic progressive techno.
