Designing for print, daydreaming in code
Once upon a time, there lived in the land of Orlando, a young princess trapped in a cottage. She spent most of her days working undercover as a web weaver, typist and layout composer for the local newspaper. Sometimes she would design an ad or two if she was lucky. She would etch secret codes in her native language, PHP . But, having been trapped so long, had soon forgotten it. She collected pieces of her native language here and there and acquired new ones. Like the then-popular CSS . She also stumbled upon a powerful library named JQuery which she used to unlock magical events swiftly and quickly. JQuery proved to solve most of her problems, but she always ran back to PHP . She was getting ready to slay the village dragon on her own. For you see, all dragon slayers and princes had fled in fear. As she arranged her armor, she remember in the Chronicles of Indesigns to contrast herself from former slayers, repeat her actions wisely, align herself to her foe, and use proximity for the final blow. But first, she must climb Mount Impossiblu!
