Addicted to web
Webdesign has been my hobby and passion for more than 6 years now. I have started with a simple, table-based homepage, and at this point I realized, that I would like to know how to make it better. That is why I have started to play around with Photoshop, learnt more about xHTML and CSS and tried to put knowledge into practice by doing more projects. Even though most of that work was only for fun, the more sites I designed the more experience I gained. Participating in Designer’s Couch contest in 2006 was the milestone in my web adventure. My design for new DC’s website was chosen as a winning entry. It was featured as a Daily Deviation at Deviantart.com. However, most rewarding for me is the fact that the design of current DC’s page evolved from my very own concept. I also had an opportunity to work with some great designers and developers during the first stage (or rather attempt) of creating that community project.
From that moment I have started to use my skills for commercial purposes. Now, after many years of constant improving my knowledge of webdevelopment, I am able to design clean, modern and professional websites as well as code them with valid xHTML and CSS markup.
Lately, I have put my interests in exploring world of WordPress. Most of my current projects, are based on WordPress as a CMS . Its flexibility makes it a great tool with endless possibilities. Currently I spend most of my free time on developing and improving my web skills as well as keeping up to date with everything what is happening in my field of interest.
