About me

Hi! My name’s Jack, I’m a web developer who specializes in JavaScript, php, xhtml/css and flash/as, although I’ll occasionally dabble in java, c++ and anything else that catches my eye. I’ve been into the whole web development thing for a good few years now and been “technologically inclined” for even longer, but I don’t generally follow the geek stereotype (even though geeks are pretty damn cool). Other than programming I play the drums, I enjoy listening to music ranging from old school hip-hop to rock, as well as watching films… my favourites being old kung-fu, action packed shit and psychological/horror movies. I also spend an unreasonable amount of time watching what seem to be hundreds of different TV series! Dexter, Game of Thrones, Spartacus, True Blood and Breaking Bad are my favourites among others.

Professional/Career

I’ve studied marketing and received a technological baccalaureate in Management Sciences and Technologies and I’m currently studying Web Computing at the University of Kent. I’m also bilingual, I speak French and English. Even though I enjoy the freedom and flexibility of freelance work, it’s quite an unstable job, so I’d like to one day start my own online business (I have some ideas, I just need more time!!). .
