Michael Wiesman Fine Art Photography
I am a working young professional that strives to deliver high quality professional portrait photography that shows personality, uniqueness and environmental style.
With over 15 years of industry experience – yes, I learned on that stuff called film – my unique vision and artistic voice with the camera is far from a commodity in this digital world. Throughout the years I have captured emotion and personalities within the frame that have produced a few award winning images, but most of them unnoticed. Some published nationally, some in private art galleries, and in 1,000?s of pockets, wallets and purses of loved ones. But none of that matters, it’s in the past. Continuing to progress through collaboration and creativity with others is what drives me and I believe is more important than what has already been accomplished.
I think it was about 15 years ago when I remember taking my first pictures with a “real” camera, and I can say that I still get excited every time I pick my Nikon up. My experience has led me to a place in photography that has greatly inspired my passion for photography, creative editorial portraiture. I’ve made lots of mistakes and bad exposures along the way. Every one of those, good and bad, have made my photography what it is today.
Talking cameras and sharing what I know to help others understand that black box that captures pictures is something that I do quite a bit. So much so I started a blog about it, the F64 Group. I am currently working in Wisconsin, but am available to work globally.
