I am using the Menu bar on the left side. Now I want to have the submenu opened when you are on a submenu-page. For example I have “contact<team” and when visiting the page “team” i want the submenu to be open just like you have clicked on the + symbol. Can you help me to solve this? Tnx

I bought the mentas theme and am struggling to setup the woocommerce section on homepage. I created the one page scroll template and imported all woocommerce products.
When I add only one specific category to “mentas product gallery” it load really fast but When I leave the category blank so it loads for all categories (10 categories – 312 products) the site takes over a minute to load. All images are optimezed and are less than 100kb in size.
I use wp-supercache as well. How can I make the product gallery load only the first 10 items in the category view in the homepage. Even though setting up the parameters inside the parameter “Load new items on scroll (infinite scroll)” it does not seem to work.

You should put value in “Items per page” field in the shortcode. Also enable “load more” in shortcode.
As for infinity scroll in latest version it works fine. But better hold new release which are going to submit in 1-2 days, where will be some other minor fixes too, then you update. But as for now, please use as I advised above.

Also under Theme Settings/Layout, you can try to change container width from 1200 t0 960px. This would reduce overall width and menubar will be keep opening when screen size more than 1280px.
Hello, I am working on a website using the Mentas theme and I am having an issue with the anchor tags on the front page when clicking on a menu item when on another page. When clicking on the inner menu links from different pages, instead of the anchor on the front page appearing at the top of the view port, it appears underneath the viewport. I am not quite sure why this is happening. Any suggestions?

I am using the Mental Mentas theme Version: 1.0.7. I did not purchase it myself, but am working for the organization that did. The front page menu links scroll nicely to the appropriate anchor tag with the tag butted up to the top of the viewport. However, when I click a link on the inner menu from another page on the site to come back to the anchor I want on the frontpage, the anchor appears below the viewport. I have the anchor href defined properly in the www.somesite.com#anchor on the inner menu items, but is not working properly.
after version 1.0.7 we updated theme many times, and all these issues you mentioned already have been fixed in other versions. Please ask your orgonization to download and pass you latest version 2.0.2 it come also with visual composer

Hi cryog3n and thank you for purchasing Mentas theme. One of our customer mentioned this issue recently. It was solved by increasing memory on his server. This happen when there is Memory limit.

The memory Limit on the server should be enough. please tell me also a prefered limit to set.

Please ask your webhost to increase your PHP max_execution_time (or any other webserver timeout to at least 300 secs) and memory_limit (to at least 256M) temporarily.

By the way, we recently released update 1 hour ago. You can reupload theme (no need to change anything, just replace theme). But it doesn’t related with demo import.

1. Unfortunately there is not such option. But you can achive that with child theme, just some coding skills needed.
2. Sure you can. As you may know or already use Mentas theme come with built-in Visual Composer plugin. That simplify working with page, and adding background too. Also you can add background color to page thru custom css, or page settings (under skins) – to override main settings.

After I purchased it, it worked really well, but then I was offline for a couple of weeks and after that I wasn’t and still am not able to log my self into my wordpress-account. A question: The Mentas map addon for the theme in VC is not working right. The JS console says:

Hi Miroruse, thank you for purchasing Mentas theme!
As of June 22, 2016 Google Maps V3 no longer supports keyless access so you need to get a key for every (referrer-)domain which has never had a Google Map on it before.
We still not implemented this into our theme, because it is new, we will find correct way to implement that into our shortcode.
I don’t see a reason to worry about this at the moment, because it doesn’t influence to page correct working.
I am trying to import a some gallery post with a well known import tool (WP All Import Pro) and my gallery posts don’t seem to work. Although i successfully import the images into the post, when i see the gallery post on the front page, i only see the featured image (not the full gallery). The only think that works is by going in to each gallery post, add a short code with the images and then hit save. Since i have more than 1000posts to import i am trying to find a faster way rather than going in to each post and import a short-code. I would be grateful if you could help me.

You touched actual matter, we know that this feature would make some our customers life much easier who have plenty photos to insert at once. For that reason we recently included this task into our to do list, and going to push this feature as soon as possible. Hopefully not later than 15 days.
I understand this timeframe might be long for you, but it is what we can do.
With that feature it would be possible to batch upload pictures, and posts will be generated automatically.
As for now, I can’t advice 3rd party methods, because we didn’t tried, and concentrated in our addition.
I have already sent you an email with updated information concerning my issue. Since i have purchased the support option i think its a bit long to wait for about 1/10 of my support period to get a solution. A temporary quick solution would help a lot. Thank you again for your time.

Hi olivier-cambodia, in last version of the theme this issues doesn’t exist, because they was fixed.
Please update to latest version 2.0.1 You can see in comments how to update theme.
You didn’t need to buy license for Visual Composer, because we put regularly updates.
And problem was not related with visual composer. It was just odd function which we fixed in last version.
You say Visual Composer is included, but it’s prompting me to buy a license for it….

The license for Visual Composer is not required as far as we include this plugin according to extended license and you can always get the latest version of this plugin in theme update or on request.

We’re having serious troubles to manage this theme as there are many things that doesn’t work +I found impossible to match a decent color settings using the provided palette as there are many colors that are not included on that palette.

Hi wrvishnu78, yesterday we updated theme with version 2.0.1, please download and upgrade theme to new version thru Envato Toolkit plugin or just replace (but backup your current theme at first).

I’d recommend you to install theme and import demo content (it is done with one click, please check video in documentation), in seperate test host, this would allow you to check your with original demo on your test host.

If you are familar with ftp, alternative way is to download theme then replace with your current theme.

possibly it is server permission matter. In that case just download and replace theme thru ftp.
do I replace the entire mental directory?
1. rename (as backup) /wp-content/themes/mental directory to let’s say mental-backup
2. upload mental folder into /wp-content/themes/
so in result you will have mantal-backup and mental directories. Once everything ok, works fine, you can remove mental-backup, otherwise roll back
I need a couple extra tips to make my site perfect! in the gallery I have chosen not to show titles and description because for some reason the images will stay really small. When selecting not to show titles they work correctly, except for the youtube videos. when watching on my desktop they get full screen, even bigger then the window, unless I shrink the browser, they they resize to fit in the space. The other thing is the layered slides. they work perfect on desktop but they are not responsive, so when viewed from mobile you don’t even understand what it is showing. here my link: gs3dstudios.com
Hi GS3D we don’t advise to use layer slider despite we include it for free, we use only revolution slider in all our demos. Because revolution slider is flexible in point of responsive.

I’ve been getting the same error the whole day. please retry and check the videos in my gallery on a desktop. I couldn’t find the revolution slider with the plugin search, I remember I wasn’t able to install it since the beginning.
Hi GS3D, revolution slider come with our theme. You can’t find it thru plugin search because it is commercial plugin, not free.
If you download Mentas theme, you can find revolution slider plugin inside plugins folder, under name revslider.zip
You should then go to plugins page in your admin panel, click add new plugin, browse that zip file, and install. Our theme includes 3 premium sliders which are inside include/importer/revslider directory, from revolution slider plugin you can import those premium sliders.
Also You can download many free other revolution sliders form revolution slider page in your admin area.

So I have installed the Revolution Slider as you suggested, but as soon as I activate it the entire site and admin page go down with error 500. I have to manually deactivate the plugin to be able to login again. I already tried to deactivate the LayerSlider plugin to see if it was in conflict, but nothing.
Hi GS3D, revolution slider is most popular commercial slider plugin available on this marketplace.
Problem may be associated with server configuration, or something else. To know where that issue come from, need to enable WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php file change value from false to true. That will output error explanation, or just look in your hosting error log files.
as you see in error message it is plugin database reset, which has no relation with our theme

You don’t need to do anything, both plugins should work fine. Please disable all 3-rd party plugins to check everything ok.
