I cant access the new token once i have installed Avada 5.0 I click the link and envato is not loading create token page?

This shouldn’t happen, can you please try with another ISP and see if the page loads, if that doesn’t help either please immediately fill in a ticket and our support assistants will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi my support has run out do i have to buy another support package just to install the new update? The create token link from the install is definitely not working its just continually trying to load?

Are you saying that the Envato page where you create the token is not loading, or is it the Avada page where you insert the token?
If it’s the Envato page, then you will need to get in touch with the Envato support team as that is not something we’re able to resolve from our end. I would recommend trying to load the same page in a different browser and see if you can get it to load that way. If not, contacting Envato would be the best option to get that resolved.
Alternatively, you can download the theme package from your ThemeForest account and upload it to your site manually using the FTP method:

A 3 part registration process is cumbersome and only worked for auto theme updates. This previous process was based off the old Envato API which is very soon coming to an end. Since the old Envato API is ending, we are required to work with the new API which has many enhancements and improvements. One of these improvements allows us to make the registration process much easier!
Regarding paid support, Envato introduced this back in September 2015, and authors had no control over this unfortunately. In fact, we (ThemeFusion) in response decided to Grandfather in any customer that purchased an Avada license prior to the 1st September, 2015. However with our theme you can almost achieve every layout so yes it is definitely possible to create a one page with no menu on it, you can disable the menu for a single page using our unique Fusion Options.

Guys, just to tell yu that you did a hell of a job from version 4 to 5. Everything is smoother, faster more logically built. AVADA, the swiss knive of WordPress theming, has just got a hell of a lot better. To anyone out there being not sure yet whether to buy: do invest in AVADA and get some extra designing time you spent on coding before without losing performance. I build 80% of my client sites based on Avada and I sure will continue to do so! To quote Kermit The Frog: Applause, applause, applause!

Just bought another license and now that I try to install this theme with the new update it just crashes my site. I can install it and but once I active it goes down. The only way to get back into the site is by manually removing the theme. I’ve installed the older versions of Avada and they all work fine until I update then everything crashes.

Hmm, the theme options should have remained the same after the update. I would recommend taking a backup of your database first and then go ahead and import the Avada 4.X options into your Avada 5.0.1 installation. Either method will do, I generally just copy the string and paste it in to the import field.

Hi, I can’t seem to be able to update to v5, I get a “An error occurred while updating Avada: Download failed. Forbidden” and a” Something went wrong. Please verify your details and try again.” error – I’ve tried to create other API keys but the problem persists. My support time expired so I can’t contact you guys directly, any ideas? Thanks!

It sounds like a server-side issue, possibly caused by folder/file permissions or even diskspace not being available. It may be worth getting in touch with your web host and ask them to check those two items for you. If you’re still having issues, we will need you to submit a ticket via our support center so that a member of our team can take a look at it for you.
If you purchased Avada before September 1st 2015, you are eligible for grandfathered support and do not need to purchase an extension.

However, if you purchase your license after that date, you will need to purchase an extension of your support period in order to submit a ticket.

Hello i just updated to 5.01 and fusion builder breaks my container with 4 1/4 columns into 2 rows. It only fitts 3 1/4 columns in a row. Please advise.

Deactivating SEO Premium Pack plugin solved the issue. I will update SEO plugin and see if it works with plugin activated
SEO Friendly Images module from SEO Premium Pack has to be deactivated.In that case everything works.

I just finished update to 5.0.1 my website and all work fine. No bug or visual glitch, and no problem with the conversion from 4.0.3. Really great job, from betatesting to final result. The site is actually faster than before, and the new fusion builder is really powerfull, intuitive and smart. Great, great job. Keep up with the development. Fantastic.

Having checked your example, that general layout can be achieved with Avada. However, there are some specific and custom styling cues and functionality that is native to that theme only and would require some level of customization within Avada to achieve.

In the older versions, I could edit the style.css for some customization of my header location. Since updating to 5.0.1, all the code that used to be on style.css is gone. Maybe I’m going crazy, but where is the code now located? Thanks.

We strongly recommend that you do not edit the Avada stylesheets directly as it will mean that you loose the edits each time you update the theme. Instead a child theme should be used for custom edits:

Furthermore, if it is only CSS you changing/adding you can rather add it to the dedicated CSS section the Theme Options -> Theme Options >> Custom CSS
And, as of Avada 5.0 you can add custom CSS to specific pages inside the Fusion Builder -> http://d.pr/i/1hW7q
