It appears that you are on 5.0.1 version of theme, we want you to please update to 5.0.2 version of theme and then run shortcode conversion once again manually from Avada > System Status Tab please.

1. I am not sure what exactly do you mean by payment terms but all the payments are processed by Envato as it is the platform where you purchase theme from.
2. There is no need to renew license once you purchase a theme you can use it for 1 site (1 domain) for the lifetime, however support license needs to be renewed after 6 months of purchase (if you want our extended support)

3. You can use any 3rd party copyright plugin to protect your data, there are many available out there to assist you.

Hmm, are you installing Revolution Slider for the first time, or are you updating an older version of the plugin? If you’re not able to install the plugin via the WordPress dashboard, you can download it from your support account on our website and update the plugin manually. I did what I said. I tried manual. But in the directory – avada / includes / plugins. It was not the revoltuion-slider.zip file. Only contains fusion-bulder.zip and fusion-core.zip. I think you forgot about it. I am with my active token yes. Able to install other less this.
I’ll see if an old version of AVADA on my mac have this plugin.
In system status has this error is it the problem? how to fix? Error: wp_remote_get() failed. Some theme features may not work. Please contact your hosting provider and make sure that https://build.envato.com/api/ is not blocked.

You have to contact your hoster / server guys about this and tell them to enable cURL on the server so the error can be fixed it appears your server is blocking access to some APIs in this case.
Also, we have just released a new update 5.0.2 that should fix the plugin installation issue too, please update to our latest version as well.

Hi, loving the new version.
I wanted to ask about a solution for development workflow as the options within the theme are literally limitless.
Firstly, any projects that we have that go into production are fully licensed. And yes I know that a license is required for each site that the theme is installed on.
With version 5.0 it is impossible to load demos without licensing. In a real world situation I’d be pretty sure many folks have installed a demo (v4.x) to look at it to learn how the particular layout is implemented or styled so they can actually apply it to their own production site(s).
Now this is no longer possible. The learning curve for many has now greatly been reduced and it may possibly reduce the amount of knowledge someone may actually gain from studying the demos as well as reduce the quality of their implementation.
I realise that the token system is there to validate licensing and to deter folks from installing unlicensed themes on sites.
I myself develop locally and then sync with the live site. but I don’t want to have to delete the local install as it acts as a backup for updates etc.
With the terms of licensing what would Avada’s advice be to site developers?
Is there anyway Avada could work with Envato to create a developer license for use on Localhost? A license that would enable you to install various theme demos etc. Or is the model so fixed that I will have to buy 2 licenses for each project.
At present the only way to study the demos is to buy a license for localhost, install demo, clean out same instance, install other demo and so on. Thats a lot of work just to study theme variations.
Just my two cents. Just looking for a flexible way to work within the parameters.
As I stated, we love the theme and want to use it on all our upcoming projects.

thanks fore the feedback but there is a misunderstanding here.
In 5.0 the demos are now offloaded, which means no longer packaged with the theme zip. This allows us to have a drastically reduced theme file which tremendously helps user uploads, server configs, etc.
The token key serves more purpose than just validation as described above, honestly it’s main purpose while creating it was to reduce the overall file size of the theme zip as many users on shared hosts had to FTP the theme folder.
So to get the demos and premium plugins, you do need to register one token key. Once that is done, you can use it to get that content.
This does not deter the learning process or building process in any way. You don’t have to delete the backup of you local or dev, you can use the token key for local dev and live.
The token key registration is done buy clicking one link, making a key, copying it and pasting it into the field, then all is done.
Also, Envato makes the license rules here, we do not have any control over them. But as explained above there is no issue and all should be fine, you just need to make a one token for the site you are working on and it can be used on dev and local.
At present the only way to study the demos is to buy a license for localhost, install demo, clean out same instance, install other demo and so on. Thats a lot of work just to study theme variations.
As explained above, that is not true It is more flexible now, just make a single token and you will see, plus this adds major enhancements to performance by removing nearly 40MB (and growing with each update!) from the theme zip.

Each purchase of Avada is valid for one installation with any of the demos. If you wish to have multiple sites, each with a different demo installed, you will need to purchase an individual copy of Avada for each of those sites as per Envato’s license agreement:

Hello Theme Fusion, I am working to re-do my site in Avada. I purchased a license and started working on it. I have set up wordpress and the theme in a different folder on my hosting account. Page Layouts and sample demos are not available to me because I have not activated the theme. I want to activate the license once my site is moved to the proper location in my hosting. The question is when I move the site will my activation for auto-updates etc stop working if I activate now ? How do I handle this situation ? Thanks

You can still register your installation while you’re developing the site in a different folder. As it’s saved in the database. the registration will carry over when you move your site to it’s proper directory.

When the shortcodes are not converted, it usually means that there is invalid markup on the page. You can try to process the conversion again by using the link in the Avada -> System Status tab of your WordPress dashboard.

Guys…seriously!
Now after seeing version 5.0.1 some extra work to decide which way to go for my second project 
!
The new demos are out of control, the new features in line with what we’re seeing today and after updating my actual project to this new version, everything ran accordingly with the conversion process, no issues at all.
My pre-sale question is if there’s way to download the pages from the classic demo so that I can have them in my WP admin in case there’s a feature that I want to see and on the other hand download for example any of the other demos that I’ll be using as the base model?

Tracking Code Bug- access not possible anymore
Hi, we used your field in settings—> general to put our google-analytics code.
Now we need to edit it, but the field is empty although the code is still in the HTML-Output.
Even if i put some new tracking code in the field, the old one stays there.
This is a real pain since we urgently need to edit it.

Whatever code field you have under Settings > General, it does not come from Avada. It has to be one of your plugins.
The Avada tracking code field can be found in Theme Options > Advanced > Code Fields. And that one is working fine in 5.0.2

That is not Settings > General Tab actually as per your first comment the Settings > General Tab belongs to Core WordPress and not Avada.

However the screenshot you provided is indeed from Avada but the tab is called Theme Options > General.
Also you are on a very older version of theme and as Mark stated we have changed this versions ago and the new tracking field location is now Appearance > Theme Options > Advanced > Code Fields.

The last time we updated Avada our website (and we run a company-website and not something private) our website was offline for more than 28 hours due to some issues on your end.
so…PLEASE ADVICE HOW TO REMOVE THE ANALYTICS CODE that has been added by YOUR tracking-code field and which cant be accessed now.

This is not true. Your Update-Process was buggy and i can proof it. Otherwise you wouldnt have a fix-file delivered 12 hours after we complained.

The fusion page builder can be used on the product pages, but it will only apply to the product description area, not to the template itself. If you wish to modify the layout of the product page, you will need to use a child theme and modify the WooCommerce page templates.

Thanks for your quick reply. Theme settings was the first thing I tried. Unfortunately I can’t figure it out. I use Lato 400 in size 16 and it looks way bolder than the google fonts preview in that size and weight.

Avada doesn’t handle the fonts any differently than Google does when it comes to rendering. If the font weight and size are set correctly, it’s actually up to the browser on how they are rendered on the page, we can’t change that from our end. You may need to have a play around with the different weight and size options until you find the combination that you’re looking for.
