Today my client updated wordpress. Things got all messed up. So i updated U design in order to fix things. But that made it worse. After update the theme options are blank. So there’s nothing to save in order to get my settings back. Is there something wrong in compatibility between u design and latest Wordpress?

sometimes it could be as simple as caching, or if you have some CDN enabled like CloudFlare make sure to purge all caches so the updates are applied properly.

How do I report a BUG while being out of the support window? Revolution Slider is giving this error and not displaying the slider:
Uncaught TypeError: b.compare_version is not a function
at Function.createNavigation
Additionally, the latest version of VisualComposer is not showing the mini icons such as pencil, duplicate, and trash can. It’s just showing blank spaces making it nearly impossible to edit the page.

unfortunately I have no control over Rev. slider and Visual Composer bugs as those are third party plugins, unless those bugs relate to the integration with the theme which is pretty straight forward to integrate and usually there are no issues with that, but in this case it sounds like bugs with the actual plugins, so we’ll just have to wait until the plugin authors fix those in consequent future releases.
Regarding Rev. slider I know the slider works with the theme so that error you’re getting is most likely caused in relation to something specific to your environment or setup, could be conflicting with another third party plugin, but I haven’t had another user report this and many people are using the slider with the theme.
If you want us to help you investigate further with the slider error I will ask you to re-post your question to the theme’s support forum where our support specialists can help you out.

hi, I plan to buy the theme U design theme. I like the menu in this exemple : http://udesigntheme.com/demos/healthcoach/ At the start, the menu appears at the top in transparency but not pasted at the top and at the right of the screen. Then when you go down the page, the menu turns into a horizontal bar that occupies the entire screen.
The problem is that in the “smartphone size” mode, the menu does not remain frozen at the top of the page when moving within the page (unlike the “PC screen size” mode). Is it possible to freeze at the top of the screen the menu in “smartphone size” mode while keeping the current operation of the menu bar in “PC screen size” mode (ie upper right and Transparent when one is at the top of the website)?
In summary: whether on a smartphone or on a PC I would like the menu always visible. Thank you

So, I recently installed the U-Design theme, and updated it, also ended up updating the visual composer to version 5.0.1 There are some cool features with this version that I wanted, and because I have their key I decided to go ahead. Ended up bugging it all haha. Nothing shows properly, and the visual composer templates never shows up, also some buttons are invisible. I tried putting an older version, but it just doesn’t work as well as the one that came with the theme. I tried uninstalling it and installing when prompted by the theme, and it goes back to version 5.0.1
So, I contacted Visual Composer WPBakery to see if it was with them, but they replied me this:
“We checked it further and the issue is because there is a Visual Composer related code present in your theme added by the theme author which is not compatible with the recent release. You will have to get rid of it. I would advise you to do so with the help of theme author, otherwise you might loose the extra elements added by him. Once this is done, you can install the standalone plugin and it will work fine. Kindly check.”
Could I have that done?

not sure if this is a standard reply they give but as far as I know my theme does not obstruct their plugin in any way, it would help if they could point out specific thing in their reporting.

it’s looks like on envato as Udesign updated on 3.12.2016, on the changelog of the envato udesign page and also change log of on the downloaded file, it’s still so: Version 2.11.1 – Updated: 24.11.2016.

I think I know why, they touch that date each time I would update something on the theme’s page, I did do some updates on the 3rd. It would be best if they only do it in conjunction with theme updates.
So, don’t worry about the date then Just go by my changelog, I always make sure it’s accurate

can this design have 2 sidebars (1 left and one right), and can you set the width of this design, or is the overall width set?

the core theme can only have one sidebar at a time (either left or right), but the theme also offers Visual Composer page builder which can have multiple sidebars.

Thanks, the dual side bar is becoming increasingly popular, I think you would gain even more downloads if you added this functionality.
I find that dial sidebars are something of the past, now more robust layouts are in style, as you scroll down the page you will see various layouts, some span full width others have columns, etc, when you have sidebars, you’re stuck with them all the way down the page and your layout is more restricted. Anyhow, for those who want it VC offers it.

Hi, I have a small problem you may be able to help with. We have installed woo commerce and changed the front page to be a static page of the shop. The trouble now is there is a title of HOME being displayed towards the top left (Under the logo) is there a way this word “HOME” can be removed please?

the theme offers Visual Composer plugin which as you may know offers various elements like progress bars, etc, I’m not sure about a counter though, I don’t think I’ve seen one such element but I might have missed it. It’s possible that the new version offers it but I have not used it so I’m not sure. There are also add-on plugins for VC which would offers it for sure.
Alternatively, it’s super easy to setup, here’s an example: https://codepen.io/shivasurya/pen/FatiB which I can help you setup with a U-Design “child” theme.

Our client has provided us a custom font they need us to use on the theme that is unfortunately not available in the theme or Google Fonts. The font is TradeGothic for general text and the variation TradeGothic LTSTD Light for headings. They have supplied us with the font files and the font css is here:
http://www.weber.edu/brand/webfonts.htmlWe have uploaded the font and tried installing it through the css but not been able to get the font to read.
Would you be able to provide any info on how we can get this font installed in the theme? We saw in an old comment that you recommended installing it by uploading it though the theme options, but we can’t seem to find that option. Is this something that you can direct us to?

I just updated the theme and Rev slider on the home page disappeared. I have created a new slider, taken the background image out … and nothing brings it back. The slider bullets are there but the slider is not showing at all. The site has been up for many years and has never had this problem before. Also. I had to take out the second logo for the scroll down the page because it was causing a duplicate at the top. Seems there are some problems with the latest update
