Something you did not apply correct on the update (that 7.2 has huge changes). I recommend to use the latest version of the template and on this just apply your customizations.

yes the downladable item contains HTML template and WHMCS template separated. So, you can just use the WHMCS template only, It is compatible with latest WHMCS version (7.1.2).
Does not provide an admin interface to choose colors, you need to edit the css fie to change them.

This does not work for the shopping cart templates.
For the WHMCS you can enable the related WHMCS addon. From admin > setup > addon modules > activate google analytics > configure > choose google analytics > put the tracking code to the related field.

The Google Analytics addon is free. You can enable it anytime via WHMCS admin with the instructions that i sent on my previous message.
