with journal 3 , is it possible to do a category toggle specially on mobile device ?
i.e a category page where clicking the parent category will display list of sub categories Example : : https://grofers.com/categories

Hi, it can be possible to show subcategories on any category page if that’s what you’re asking about, but those are displayed by default without a toggle button or similar.

There is not toggle button unfortunately, however you have carousel mode which serves a similar purpose. Look in Journal > Skins > Edit > Category > Subcategories > Display > Carousel.
i know about carousel but our client wants to see all the sub categories in a grid strutcure with expand collapse
That is not possible unfortunately, please consult with a developer about a possible custom code implementation.

Hi Team. Thanks again for the latest update. The Paypal plugin is now working with OPC which is awesome, but i’ve noticed that when it is processing a card payment, the 3D Secure window loads behind the card details window. That should ideally load on the top, as people might not see it and there is nothing to say the payment is going through the 3D Secure stage. Is that something i am doing? Anyone else having this issue?

Hi, Opencart Filters must be assigned to the corresponding category first in Catalog > Categories > Your Category > Data > Filters. This is how Opencart default Filter module works and we’ve adhered to that (starting with v.3.1.1). To fix this, access your categories in Catalog > Categories and add corresponding filters there. Hey, After the recent update the filter doesn’t show “filters“ from the filter module, although it’s still enable. Is there any reason for this???
All the other filter modules like “availability”, “options” etc are shown. Just the “filters” is missing.

Ohhh… But that’s like downgrading a great feature… Please consider it getting back in the next update or atleast have the users choose for themselves…. With this new update with filters I have to add more than 50 filter in each category and have to do the same every time a new category is created… and whilte making a new filter I have to add it to each category… Please please please.. bring that feature back…..
Also to downgrade to the earlier version, I should just upload all the earlier files, right?? Or is there any extra step required?

I want to update my Journal theme to the latest last version of Journal 2x
1) My present version is 2.6.7 will i be able to update to v. 2.16.8 2) My opencart version is 2.0.1.1 3) There are many settings twearks done on the site homepage, such as font colors etc cms blocks added would that change post the update ? 4) if it does change , is there a way to bulk save these changes and reupload into the journal 2.16.8 to avoid time loss ? 5) would extensions already working on my store stop working in the updated version of journal 2.16.8 from 2.6.7

Hi, you can download the latest Journal 2 version from here https://www.journal-theme.com/v2/download/
It should not reset any of your admin customizations since those are saved in the database, and this is a normal theme update from J2 to another J2 version. However we can’t vouch (nor provide compatibility support) for your custom modifications or 3rd party extensions.

Hi, the paypal commerce platform is not working. It shows the paypal button, debit cards/credit cards button. when U click on PAYPAL button, it opens a blank page and closes. the other button does not perform any action.
