But there is one thing that I really miss these days, it is a kanban and gantt model, that would complete this project.

any plans to apply a tailwind?
Many thanks for choosing Dashmix for your project! Dashmix is a Bootstrap based template and there are no plans to change it to use Tailwind CSS.
Hello, Hi author, Have loop repeat html in this template?
Hello, there are auto generated HTML snippets to populate dummy content in the PHP version. This is why you might see different content in the HTML version as well.
Hi, where is documentation page or tutorial videos so I look and see how hard/easy it is to set up?
Hi, thank you for your interest in Dashmix! Feel free to have a good look at its docs and let us know if you need any further info.

hey Guys, just checking the ratings.. impressive.. 1,500 sales , more than 100 ratings,.. and you get 4.96 .. consistently in a 4 years span.. only 1 rating with three stars (with a not-so-very clear complain). Good job.. seems to be a very good product, and the ratings history provides confidence for the purchase.. Rgds, Pascale
Hey Pascale, thanks so much once again for your kind words, we very much appreciate it! We are very happy for all the ratings our templates have been receiving and we are keep doing our best to keep them up to date and improve them with each one update!

Hi Guys , great and beautifully designed templates.. Congrats.. !
Have some pre-sales questions: 1) is there documentation available (detailed) that I can browse before purchase..?.. so to know more about what is the level of knowledge (html, css, javascript, php, etc.), that I should possess in order to make this template work similar to the demos. 2) the template has support (can be easily translated) to Spanish for example..? 3) I am not tech savvy.. can you elaborate what does it mean that you will provide “abstract” php or laravel.?.. what does that means exactly..? 4) do you provide instructions on how to set the templates up in a shared hosting and / or how to migrate from local host to a live (shared) server..? 5) will new versions of Bootstrap, and ohers work fine in older IE browers.. or Edge and Mozilla Firefox..?
Thanks, Pascale
Hi Pascale, thank you for your interest in our work and kind words, we are very glad you like them! Let’s have a look at your questions:
1) You can a look at the Dashmix docs.
2) All text is static in the demo pages, so you will have to use your own translation library based on the tech you are using when you put together the UI of your project.
3) We include a PHP version (in addition to the HTML one) which comes with some basic functionality and templating (for example, navigation auto generation from an array or setting layout options through variables). It’s abstract, meaning that it isn’t a real app but it offers various page examples which you can use in order to design/build your project. We also offer a Laravel Starter Kit if you would like to build a Laravel (PHP framework) based app.
4) We do not provide any hosting instructions because you can upload the template files on your server and the demo pages will just work. The concept is that you will use the code from the example pages to design the UI of your project which then will be hosted online based on the requirements of the technology you are using.
5) Dashmix does not support any IE version but works great on all popular Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari versions.
Hope that helps but let us know if you need any further info!
Hello Guys,
thanks for the swift reply. I went through the docs, and it is very well structured and detailed, first-class docs. in my opinion.. Thumbs up.!.
I am ready to purchase.. so other few questions I have are:
1) Compatiblity with my technology stack: -For front end, I plan to use, apart from html and ccs, some vanilla js, and chart.js for charting (which I see you have included, but in the documentation says that is not included..?., so I am in doubt with chart.js) -Backend: Basically I will build a Single Page Application with API calls via ajax.. so are these templates suit to build an SPA web app type ..?) -Data fetching via ajax calls directed to end points built with PHP and PDO or mysqli probably (database is Mysql). The app is a basic incident management system where users will process basic CRUD operations, nice reports and charts, no other complex operations after that, so I don’t think I will need a PHP framework such as Laravel, just using PHP to build the REST API.
2) Recommendations on any js-based language translator plugin..?
3) Recommendations on authentication protocols,, I plan to use OAUTH..?
Thanks, Pascale
Hello Pascale,
Thanks a lot for your kind words, we’re very glad you like it! Let’s have a better look:
1) Chart.js is included along with many examples and you can find it in the docs under the JavaScript section as well. Dashmix does not have an SPA based version at the moment (for example a Vue.js based one) but its core JavaScript doesn’t depend on third party libraries (eg jQuery), so is relative easy to integrate it with any framework you might use or with your frontend system!
2) You can have a look at i18next which is one of the most popular JS based packages.
3) OAuth is a great choice
Wish you a great week ahead!
Thanks for the quick reply,
so, if I go down with an SPA approach, then maybe OneUI Vue edition would fit better, would be easier to customize..?.. In any case, I am still considering SPA vs. MVC.. because, at the end of the day, each page in my website will require a fresh call to the database for data fetching.. so not sure if the SPA approach will improve the performance at all, or if the improvement will even be noticeable for the users
Thanks for your suggestions and comments in 2) and 3).
Pascale
You’re welcome! Since your app will include simple CRUD operations, you can’t go wrong following the approach you feel more familiar with.
If you choose to go with an SPA, you could choose OneUI Vue Edition which also includes a Laravel version if you would like to make minimum changes to the frontend (you have to be familiar with Vue.js and Laravel for such project though).
Alternatively, you can follow a classic approach (for minimum changes as well) and use Dashmix as it is out of the box. Hope that helps!
Thanks once again for your interest

Could I use “Alternative Style” and “Floating Labels” for select2?
Many thanks for choosing Dashmix for your project! Select2 can currently be used with the default style (+ color themes and dark mode) but we might create additional styles to support those variations as well in the future.

5. Make sure that the .env file exists in your project root folder

No, unfortunately that’s not possible without additional CSS customizations.
Hello – Can you please tell me what the field I need to use to validate a first name and last name field would be? Like id=”val-firstname” etc? Thanks.
Hello, many thanks for choosing Dashmix for your project! There are no specific ids to use for various fields and you would have to specify the validation with JavaScript code when initializing the validation form based on your preferences.
For our example, we set all fields and their validation rules in the assets/_js/pages/be_forms_validation.js file. More info can also be found at the official docs of the plugin. Hope that helps!
Hi there. Are there any compatibility issues between 5.1 and 5.2? Can I upload the new 5.2 assets folder to work with modified 5.1 templates?

I was going to use this template again for my CMS, but it’s being impossible, I don’t mind paying a little more for the renewal, but as I say it’s impossible, I thought it was going to be separated in components and that Bootstrap could import it directly from the node_modules package for when a new version comes out, and that Dashmix styles would overwrite this. But no, there’s a bit of a mess, because it looks like all boostrap resources are being modified directly.
Is there a way to fix this? I mean I just want to style DashMix and overwrite this, but it seems that some Dashmix resources also depend on modified Boostrap files/variables.
I’ve seen that you are still using jQuery, although this is the least of it, I just want the styles.
Hi, Bootstrap files are untouched under the assets/_scss/bootstrap/ folder and all overrides are happening outside of that folder. In the main.scss file you can easily point to the Bootstrap files under the node_modules/ folder, it’s up to you to structure them however you like.
jQuery is no longer used, it is optional and only needed in the example pages where a jQuery based plugin is presented. If you do not use any related plugins in your project, it is not needed because we do not use it in our custom JS code.
Moreover, please have a look at the Sass and JavaScript sections in the docs where we explain everything in detail. Hope that helps.
You are right, I thought it was modified. So everything perfect, now the only thing I have to separate the main JS codes and necessary for it to work, as the Sidebar and some others that I have to look at.
Thank you very much.
No worries, we’re glad it makes sense now! Happy coding!
Hello,
A nice product, just a few comments…
In the Dashboard demo for Corporate Slim, the tables there for People and Tickets, can they be set to sort by column ? For example clicking on Name or Date would sort accordingly ?
Also I noticed that in your Validation of fields, edede@edede is not a valid email address although it allows that. Shouldn’t it check to make sure there is a ”.” after the @ to ensure it has been entered in full ?
Cheers
Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Dashmix and kind comments, we’re glad you like it! Let’s have a look at your questions:
1. These are static tables but you could make them dynamic by using DataTables. The last example we provide showcases how to enable column sorting with pagination.
2. This is the default email validation rule provided by jQuery Validation plugin and is based on the official HTML Spec. In fact, ‘edede@edede’ could be a valid email address. Please have a look at the related thread for more info and a custom validator which can easily be added and only validates with an email address with dot included.
Hope that helps but let us know if you need any further info.
any plan for VueJS / Angular implementation ?
Thank you for your interest in Dashmix! There are no immediate plans but we might create a Vue based version at some point, so stay
