Good afternoon, I’m trying to update the Riode theme to the latest version and I’m getting Fatal Error on the website. Is everything ok? I don’t really know what’s going on, but I’ve had to restore the website 3 times and it hasn’t updated any of them.

What can I do?

Recently downgraded from the newest version 1.6.15 to 1.6.14 because it rendered the site useless. Curios if ya’ll are getting other comments regarding this? Thankfully we have backups and were able to restore the site.

Hi guys, I updated my website yesterday but after the auto update was done my site does no longer show. I have this error in my error log: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function getMessage() in /home/xxxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/themes/riode/inc/general_function.php:808

A year or so ago I had the same kind of issue and you told me to replace some files. But I can not remeber exactly which files I should replace. So I was hoping you could tell me which folders from the downloaded archive I need to upload overwritting the current ones.

Regarding your concern about the test/local site usage license,

Please follow the steps listed below:

Install the theme on the test/local site.
Register the theme with the purchase code on the test/local site.
Use the test/local site.

Before migrating the test/local site to the live/final site OR using the license on the fresh new WordPress on the final/live site, you have to deregister the license from the test/local site by navigating to Udesign >> Theme License.

Migrate the local/test site to the live/final site OR Install the theme on the fresh new final Live site.

After that, you must register the theme again on the final/live site using the same purchase code.

It should work.

Please note that one single license is for the one single live URL only, this is Envato policy and with all the themes on the ThemeForest, you may wish to confirm with Envato as well, so using the same license on multiple sites is against Envato policy.

If you wish to use the same theme on the new site, you should have to purchase the new license.

And about the reset password email, I have sent it to your email from the system, please check your email and follow the instructions provided in that email, please do not forget to check the SPAM folder as well.

Yes indeed. Forgot about that site and i apologize for that mistake. I’ve just bougth another license. What about the “send mail” problem? The user is not receiving e-mails when creating new accounts neither when trying to reset password. When i use wp-login.php reset password link, e-mails is working just fine.

That website is not mine since 2022. And I can tell the new person is using SHOPIFY. So how is these theme linked with a shopify store if is for wordpress? How can i get this resolved?

I am writing to express my frustration regarding the license restriction I am currently facing with your theme. Initially, I installed and activated the theme on my domain danamela.com.bd. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I no longer have access to that domain. However, when attempting to use the theme on danamela.com, I encountered a roadblock because the license is tied to the previous domain.

As you may know, .bd is a country-specific domain, and it is not uncommon for businesses to secure both the local (.bd) and global (.com) versions of their domain names. This ensures brand consistency and security. Imagine if I had only secured danamela.com.bd, and someone else took danamela.com—this would be a significant business risk. Given this, it is crucial to have flexibility in domain usage, especially when circumstances force a change in the primary domain.

The current situation is not just inconvenient; it reflects poorly on the theme’s licensing workflow and customer support. It is unreasonable to restrict me from using the theme on danamela.com when the original domain is no longer in use. Such practices are disappointing and do not align with the professional standards I expect from a reputable theme developer.

I urge you to reset the license immediately so that I can use the theme on danamela.com. Failure to do so would only add to the dissatisfaction and could potentially affect my willingness to recommend your product to others.

Has anyone figured out how to disable the Newsletter Popup?!!! Support is giving me the same answer I’ve found here in the comments, but it’s not accurate. I’m running Elementor… I go to Riode > Templates Builder > Popup Builder > and edit the popup with Elementor. It says to look for a Diamond shaped icon called Riode Settings and that Display Conditions can be found there. BUT THERE’S NOT diamond shape anything that says “Riode Settings”.

I don’t know if this is a bug or not an existing feature. In the Customiser, when I switch to Tablet or Mobile View, Options are still showing Desktop view values.

I noticed this when I went to

Customising > WooCommerce > Product Type” Menu.

Desktop view: “Products per row”: set to 3.

I switch to Mobile View:, I want to set “Products per row” to 1. But I can’t because options seem to be single global options for every view.

Hi,

Product titles displayed in the shop page are shortened/cut off to fit in the product box. When searching for a product via Search Bar, the full product title gets displayed.

I have looked everywhere for the setting. I expected it to be in “Customising > WooCommerce > Product Type” Menu.

We regularly get warnings about outdated copies of the theme when Woocommerce updates,

One that persists is :

- /woocommerce/archive-product.php version – 3.4.0 is obsolete. The kernel version is 8.6.0,

Otherwise the recent warnings are these:

- riode/woocommerce/myaccount/orders.php version 8.5.0 is deprecated. The kernel version is 9.1.0, - riode/woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php version 7.8.0 is deprecated. The kernel version is 9.0.0,
