Hi, how do I make the slider image fullwidth?..there seems to be a 36px wide space on each side of the slider (and I used a 1920×592 slider image).

May I know how to change my footer background to a custom image?
For now it is possible to change in the custom CSS in theme options. Like:
.foot {
background-image: url(path-to-your-image.jpg);
}
But very soon this will be possible to change via the customizer, I am working on this already.

This theme’s files does not contain .psd files. My designer cannot easily customize without these files. Is this situation normal for some themes?
No, it does not come with PSD files as most of the theme was designed in the browser. But I answered you already on our ticket support.

In the Theme Options > Contact page you can select the center of the map and add the locations (and in the latest update the default location is created at the same point as the maps center if there is no locations).

I have some issues creating the “services page”.
Do I have to create a Page called Services? I’ve installed the demo content but can’t seem to find the “services” page.

I forgot to mention, I would like to change the “blue” on the “Make an appointment” near the menu on the top right, as well as the color of the widgets with icons. How would I go about doing that

You just create a new Menu and then add the menu widget to the services sidebar. In this way you are not limited to link to just services.

Yup, everything you mentioned can be changed in the customizer.
Just updated. I personally preferred the previous slider. Any way to go back to that slider and keep the footer patch you just released? or at least bring back the option for the button on the sliders?
Also, arrows have now appeared above my home page gallery but they do not do anything? I only have one gallery of images.

The slider is basically the same. If you want the same text on all slides, than you can have the same content.
You simply insert the button with the [button] shortcode, the same will be [button type=”warning” href=”#”]Read more[/button]. More is in the docs.
For the arrows – will be fixed in the next version.
I bought the theme yesterday and I am loving it so far. I am very excited to there there will be a “Meet the Team” section.

You guys nailed on this one, nice job. If you can make versions of this for other trades, like construction or other types of small business, you be filling a need for many companies. There are few really good small business themes, tis is the first one, but too niche specific. Once again, great job on this one.

Some of the content has installed but not the home page content, also where is the page builder?
There is no page builder, but the front page can be made using the widgets. You can import the widgets too, with the widget import&export plugin and demo-widgets file in extras folder.
I’m interested in buying your theme, but I see in comments that there are still too meny bugs. I think I’ll wait a month when it will be fixed. Have you solved all the problems that adholics writes?

I’ll start with the answers I still have question for:

You should create a custom menu for the services page and put it to the sidebar of the services. That’s how it is added.
—Not sure how this is possible, a service page does not exist in the widget area for me to add the custom sidebar to? Please advise further.

I don’t understand the question, there is no team members (yet) in the Carpress.
—you have a portion in the theme options > Layout > “Meet the team background” If you could add a team portion to this site I think it would be nice, looks like some of the work is done, this must have been left over from the hairpress theme.

The white space below the galleries will be fixed soon, the carousel JS plugin is causing that.

I checked the fancybox gallery in Safari – works as it should. Which OS you use and which version of Safari?

I looked through all the documentation and could not find the Contact form 7 code you said would be there. Can you just post the code here? Also, I noticed a screen shot of the widget page, and in your screen shot a services template is in the top right, this does not exist in my sites admin area. it is a template I can select when choosing a page template, but it is not in the widget area?
Also, will you be building-in a font selector? Not finding a place to change fonts easily without going into the code?
just figured out the services issue. You have to go to theme options > Layout and manually select services sidebar before it goes into the widget area. so that issue is solved;)

Just a couple items I’d love to see added to the theme when you’re deciding next updates;)
First off, GREAT THEME! You guys did excellent work! many of the issues I had were my fault while trying to figure out your back-end system. now that I’ve figured it out I love it and it is very intuitive. I will be giving this 5 stars one the one bug we found is fixed.
1. Exert length for the services home page widget, it would be great if I could easily select the character count per exert.
2. Font selector: an easy way to change fonts from the theme options area.3. team member section
4. Gallery: I would like to be able to scroll through all the images in a gallery from the home page, not just show the number of images I select in the widget. not sure if this is an easy change or not, but its on my wish list;)
5. More mobile options. Specifically, I’d like to be able to have the google map on the home page on all devices except phones. the map gets in the way of scrolling on the phone. Also, some widgets would be nice to be able to leave off the mobile as well. maybe you could add a selector on each widget asking if you want it displayed on mobile? just a thought.

1. for the services you can write your own excerpt, if you don’t see the excerpt field you should toggle the view in the Screen Options (at the top) and check the excerpt.

4. that would firstly be difficult to achieve to keep the existing (more default) behaviour and secondly would lead to more confused settings, so we will leave it as it is

I updated and now am having many issues. Google maps are no longer appearing and testimonials are appearing all at once? Also, can’t get gallery images to appear in the gallery widget, can’t get a pin placed on the google map when it did work and can’t figure out how to get the slider working. I have loaded images in for the slider, and the speed is set, but I don’t see any other controls available?
Also, where did you make the changes in contact form 7 to layout horizontally? mine is stacking vertically.
also, what widget did you use to have the logos running acrodd the bottom of the home page on the demo?
Something is not right with the gallery? Can’t get images to display in the widget area and do not see any gallery layout options as you show on the demo. Also, I see mention of “meet the team” page in the layout area of the theme options, but don’t see anything or any way to create this portion? Also, when you are logged in, the site behaves wonky when looking at home page.
I did get the home page slider working, I think an update was still coming through earlier. still can’t get a pin placed on the google map?

Can you change the content from slide to slide also or just the background images?
It looks like the slider has one set of content, but you can only change images. I’ve never seen a slider like that. Can you update the slider so we can change the content? Otherwise, what is the point?

ahaa.. maybe its good idea to add few images to slider on demo so I can see it in action. ARe there some transitions between images or it just change picture to differernt one ? Also is there some sliderf control like arrows , dots or something so user can change sliders quickly ?
