How do I go about selling a theme with a carousel or content slider (like Nivo)? How do I host the files so the user to buys it doesn’t have to host the files?
What galleries and lightboxes are commonly used in themes on TF? I assume you need a proper licence to do so?
I’ve got a few things that may work for your logo. I thought this one matched up well. Let me know if you are interested, I can edit the track (time wise) if you decide you want to use it.
Wow, your right! This is on my watchlist. I’ll get back to you.
It’s a logo. If you’d like to make a cool music for it, just list it for sale and give me a link. I have a little cash to spend (all money earned from marketplaces wink wink).
Now, the last words “A Heresy View Film” is the final piece, the logo, so I want the music to help let people know. Maybe have the music build up to that final moment? You decide.
I see lots of image galleries (jQuery) in themes, what ones are available for commercial use (re-selling in a ThemeForest theme)?
Just thought I’d post to let everyone know, as of yesterday, I’m now the site manager of ThemeForest. The cat was let out of the bag a little early on the wiki, so this shouldn’t come as a shock to many of you….
Look at all your badges! You must be official or something
Welcome to ThemeForest.net!
Hey guys –
I’m in the process of preparing a new CSS top-level category on CodeCanyon. It’s my hope that this will specifically appeal to you guys, and will encourage some cross-marketplace selling.
As I’m sure you can imagine, CSS is a tricky category when there are so many neat snippets available around the web, That’s why we want really awesome submissions!
When thinking about what to submit, ask yourself what you’re most intrigued by. Any specific tutorial that always catches your eye? Something navigation related? Tabs? Forms?
Then, when you have your idea, remember to offer bunches of options. For example, with a menu pack, consider offering 5-10 different color options.
I’m hoping to launch in two weeks (if I can steamroll it). Can I rely on some of you having submissions prepared for day one? Remember that I always feature our seed content on Nettuts!
Plus – this will be a great way to direct more traffic to your ThemeForest offerings! Thanks, guys!
WOO ! I love CSS !!! I’ll try and submit some stuff
