I like it and use it quite a bit I use gmail and google reader constantly so it kind of brings everything into one place.
Are over! Did anyone pay much attention to it? I live very close to Vancouver and both my sister’s live there so I have been completely engulfed in it. Downtown Vancouver was INSANE today when Canada won men’s hockey gold. I was at the pub watching the game in Victoria and I have never seen such a loud and rowdy bunch! I took some video footage and the audio is completely distorted on it. My sister called me after the game and she said that people were dancing on top of the bus shelters and that the street was so packed you could barely move. It got so loud that she had to hang up because she couldn’t hear me!
How did your country do?
Im Canadian and we got 3rd for most medals, but the most golds (new record!) w00t!
I personally don’t like GoDaddy because of their tedious and advertise-ridden buying process. I bought my first domain with them and it was a painful experience. I’ve used my host to register any new ones I’ve had.
hahaha their site is INSANE with the advertisements… the checkout process is like “ARE U SURE U DONT WANT THIS ? AND THIS ? AND THIS AND THIS TOO !!!?”...
BUT WAIT !!....
and the “no thanks” link is like this tiny, discreet text link at the bottom of the page.
however, I still use them because it’s hella cheap and I only have to go through the pain of renewing/registering once and a while. Been using them for like 6 years without any issues (for domain registration only)
Anyway , day 2 of my vegetarian diet. I’m feeling good about my decision .. and I freaking love soy milk
This is probably another topic in it’s own, but I have heard and read some CREEPY things about soy milk and the things it does to your body… like blocking the body’s ability to absorb essential minerals, messing with the thyroid, and containing high levels of aluminum. Fermented soy (ie soy sauce and miso) are harmless though.
You guys would stop eating meat if you had to kill it yourself. Or you would kill a dear and eat it for months.
lol that’s exactly what I said! my family kills a deer or two per year and that is plenty of meat (we also catch a lot of our own fish and freeze it). I’ve helped butcher chickens and stuff and it doesn’t bother me. I have a huge problem with the commercial food industry though.
I have seen earthlings and food inc (both powerful and informative movies). I do eat meat, but I make a big effort to only eat locally grown meats (and other foods too) where I know the animals have normal diets and are treated humanely. I grew up on a farm and we generally shoot a deer once a year and that is plenty of meat to last us through the year. People often say that if people had to kill their own meat, they wouldn’t eat it
I really like it… I use gmail/reader constantly (the tab never closes!) and it is nice to have it so sexily integrated. To me, it doesn’t really feel like another social networking site… it’s just gmail expanding.
hmm i like that. i will try it. do u cook the oatmeal first or do u blend the raw oatmeal with the other stuff?
I just use raw oatmeal and blend it really well
and the protein powder I use is vanilla, the same recipe is pretty good using chocolate milk or I use rice milk as an alternative sometimes. Sometimes Ill throw some berries or nuts in as well
