yea, I tried that too, but when I compile it and upload it to the device the app name is still in English, no matter if it its “zh_Hans” or “zh-Hans”
I am trying to give the app a Chinese name. However it is not working. <text xml:lang=”zh-Hans”>...</name> is ignored. Has anyone achieved this somehow?
I bought a license for Corona once and according to my experience with it, it totally sucks. Air is better.

Well, uploading the textures to the GPU takes up most of the time. Starling initialization is just maybe 2 seconds. But if you upload an uncompressed texture of type 2048×2048, that takes on older devices 3-6 seconds.
