No problem, but each file of theme will be encoded like every paid software nowadays
BTW, there even could be a 30-day trial too
There should be ability to browse more than 50 photos per page. It’s really hard to browse portfolio when it contains 34575 photos.
The problem is not with PayPal, because there is no chance for refund in the Paypal system if you bought a digital product. Refunds are possible for physical products only. The problem is with Visa & MasterCard chargebacks (friendly fraud) – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chargeback http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friendly_fraudAnyway as I know there is a seller protection if you use 3D secure: http://www.visaeurope.com/en/cardholders/verified_by_visa.aspx http://www.web-merchant.co.uk/3dsecure.asp
There should be provided a License Key of purchase so authors can remove such person from a support forum.
Yes, but I think it will be simpler to allow authors to add dots or commas.
Also could anybody move this topic to the Site Feedback – http://themeforest.net/forums/topic/site-feedback/30
I can’t use full name of the “Bank Account Holder’s Name” in the withdrawal form because you don’t allow dots or even commas – there is many companies which have , Ltd or , LLC extension. Please fix it.
Hi @Diabolique, as an Australian company we comply with the Australian Tax Laws. As this question does not relate to the membership terms update, please contact us via support if you have any other questions relating to tax.
It’s related to the membership terms because “Membership Terms and Conditions” are checked by my Tax Office when I am audited. If you are saying in the MToC that I’m a seller here and I should collect VAT (about 25% in my country) then I want to send a VAT invoice for each buyer/company who will buy my theme so they will get VAT return in own country and save 25%.
Also if I will buy something on your website from an author, let’s say from Ireland, then I want to receive VAT invoice too.
Anyway your agreement between members is not clear for Tax Offices. You should add a clear information to the “Membership Terms and Conditions” who is collecting value added tax from clients here.
Other authors have the same problems – http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/eu-tax-specialist-says-i-need-to-pay-vat/85095
