To anyone having this issue:
1. You’re not alone… It just hasn’t been noticed by a ton of people yet because most people “set it and forget it” when it comes to their theme options
2. No matter how much you try to explain it to the admin(s)/moderator(s) of WP.org, they are inevitably going to blame the theme authors.
I guess I lost my temper with that dude, but the lack of real “support” is infuriating.
This isn’t the exact same template, but it’s a very close match in style and color scheme and they’re both by the same author…
I personally think that whoever sets the prices doesn’t put much real thought into it… I mean, I have a menu file that includes ONLY one menu design with 3 color variations… That file is priced at $3.00
Whereas I have another menu design that has 6 color variations that when I first uploaded it, they priced it at $3.00 as well… When in my honest opinion, it’s a hell of a lot better quality than the other file is to begin with.
However, I had a request to add a fully functional demo to the file so I did.
Now the file with 6 color variations has a fully functioning demo using html/css only and when I re-uploaded it… Guess what it’s selling for now? TWO FRIGGIN DOLLARS !
Gimme a damn break.
I’m actually a truck driver… I’ve been doing it now for about 5 years, and have covered nearly 1,000,000 miles in the process. I’ve been to all 48 contiguous states, Hawaii, Mexico, and Canada…
I like my job, but I would much rather be doing webdev for a living.
