Yes, it is the worst feeling ever! The worst part is when a non-developer tries to convince me that IE is much ‘better’ than FireFox/Chrome/Safari
I like it too! I just think you should consider revising the background colors and develop a solid color scheme. Also, your header has some alignment issues, and the footer’s typography could be updated. Other than that, I think this theme is really nice.
Well, you need to improve the overall design feel. Minimalism is tricky because you need to perfect the negative space in the design. You have inconsistent spacing and typography. The slider is outdated and the images used on the “recent projects” section should do something when you hover over them. I recommend removing the subtitles and make them appear when you hover over them. Or think of something unique. Add some flare
I really do like it. I just think that it is slightly too big, you have a lot of empty space on it. Maybe it matches the rest of the theme. But definitely align the menu bar with the center of the logo. I would also add more contrast with the text and the drop down menu. Other than that, it looks awesome. Nice work my friend
You have more work to do. Since the other two pages are duplicates of the same content on the home page, why not make it a one page design? With that said, visual hierarchy is extremely important. You need to fix the subtitle on the front page, it does not stand out. Also, the logo needs more contrast from the background.
There are also negative space issues and inconsistencies within the design. Some things are centered, and somethings are flush with the left side. That is fine, as long as you group things together. There is a log of negative space on the right side of the portfolio, I would distribute them more evenly.
I would also add a shadow to the background of the body (much like you have done so on the footer).
Good luck, please keep me updated on this. I like the concept
