hey, yeah i’ve been scouring the net for hours, but nothing is helping. no the PC isn’t recognising it.
Just got iPod touch and having problems. Thought you could help (it’s my first experience with Apple – and NOT impressed!)
When i turn it on i keep getting the “connect to itunes” icon. Battery is full, iTunes is installed & account registered, iPod is connected to USB .
The help is a pile of rubbish too. says:
1: Dowload itunes – DONE 2: connect iPod to PC – DONE 3: Follow onscreen instructions in iTunes to setup iPod touch – IT DOESN ’T GIVE ME THIS OPTION !!
i’ve tried resetting the iPod & reinstalling itunes, but i just can’t get the ipod to do anything.
please help if you can.
i definitely think all help files should have the same basic structure, with a required minimum level of content. obviously it’d be up to the individual to further expand upon the help offered.
i shouldn’t think it’d be too hard for experienced reviewers to outline the key components of a standardised help file or improve upon the existing one
think i’d much prefer a guaranteed minimum no of days on page 1. but can’t see that being realistic, so i guess it’s just down to a little luck or good timing!
Cheers! Be interested to see someone doing a tut on customer admin pages ofr Wordpress, would encourage alot of us site template authors to give it a go!
jeff – found this today… plenty of reading
Hi, i’m heading off backpacking round South East Asia for a year. I’m looking into getting an iPod touch, so i have my music, WIFI and PDF documents in one place. Was wanting to load a few Wordpress PDF files so i can learn on my downtime.
Was probably going to get the 64GB version, but as you can guess it’s pretty expensive.
Question is… are there any cheaper alternatives that’ll do the same job?
Or even, as a travelling (learning) web designer are there other things i should look for? BTW i won’t be working, just providing support.
amazing software. i setup and customised a store before i knew any PHP or JS or even heard of AJAX – or design come to think of it
i must admit, when i first seen it i thought of mq’s one – but now when i see them again there’s certainly enough of a difference to be considered different.
Like you say – half the websites on here look the same!!
btw i did NOT lodge a complaint or ever would, i’m merely an interested viewer considering i too recently created a vcard
interested to see how this pans out
Look around at other stock sites, none of them put user feedback comments directly below the file preview. It’s better having them on it’s own page, less clutter, looks more professional. Plus now we can show the whole file description without having that glitchy maximise thing that cropped off everything.
if it were a choice between that maxamise thingy or comments, then i guess i’m with DS here – keep the comments on their own page
Can anyone tell me how to put links to external pages in my item details page?
i tried a normal anchor tag but as far as I can tell it’s stripped the link? I want to be able to send the user to different versons of my theme. Is this possible (apologies if the answer is something uber simple lol)
as far as i’m aware you’d add the
http:// before the link
