I like yours Glenn – that’s a neat idea actaully. I’m wondering if my judgements clouded and maybe we should be offering it like you have, that way it’s an option. The picture looks like a Ninja
Cheers Jeff, looking forward to seeing yours.
Re: pic or no pic – sure you can always modify it later, see how sales go first (not well for me so far!)
I honestly had never heard of the idea of an online CV before – so maybe i’m way off the mark with my design. Surely you just post/ e-mail your CV? No? or should i get from under that rock?!
i’ll third the “a photo on CV, in UK is a no-no”... in fact on mine i just hid it as a link which launches the lightbox, so it can be easily removed by a buyer who doesn’t want it.
knocking off work early today… will be interesting to see if i can produce a CV template before this day has finished.
look at my avatar… can you guess my name?
originality oozes from me!
my thoughts are that if people really want it for free they’ll find a way to do so.
even if you get a report of URLs you don’t have a list of who bought them to check against? or am i incorrect in saying this?
i’m just watching it grow with envato ...now i’m a poet and i didn’t even know it!
ok, so i’ve just seen the blog post – yeah go for it.
nice idea – funnily enough i created an nice CV for myself – pity i don’t have much to put in it!!
what format would the files be in? MS Word?
would it be considered too easy to copy? i.e. come here for inspiration and rip off instead of buying (although i’d imagine price would be low enough to dissuade this action)
Too bad each author can’t have a mini “blog” or something to show updates to their items. You can through LogPush.com. Although it’s obviously not part of ThemeForest, and not tied directly to your item in TF. But judging by the volume of followers I have on all of my items listed there my buyers sure appreciate the email notifications and details on updates
LP – your creation perchance??!!
