Thanks I will work on it now to make it less cluttered and less of a box like feel.
Can you go into details? I have included Google fonts for more typography options and line height, font spacing, etc seemed to be corrected since getting feedback on forrst.
I’ve been a member of the theme forest community for 4 years and I have tried time after time to get my theme accepted and still no luck. I will admit when first starting my websites were not that good but hey others were not in their files was accepted. Reviewers files were accepted though they were not up to par.
This year I have worked on a music theme and have fixed all bugs, gotten feedback on forrst, posted pics on dribbble and still rejected. What is the problem? Why is this file a soft reject but when I fix it and resubmit it It gets denied. If you have 3minutes can you tell me what I can improve on my file.
Yeah Im not sure what is going on and support is no where to be found. This is very weird though, hope to find out something soon
I created a wordpress theme which was soft rejected. Instructions was given to me on errors I needed to correct, which I have done and resubmitted. I have resubmitted this theme 4-5 times with all changes made and have received the same auto response stating I did not change anything. My question is when a reviewer reviews a file do they actually because I cannot imagine them writing the same thing 5 times when I clearly have updated my theme. Also why does it take support days to get back to you. I’ve wrote them Tuesday and I have heard nothing from them regarding my issue. Has this happen to anyone before? If so what is your experience?
Hey guys just wondering if anyone else is experiencing a long wait and response from the review team? I sent in my item on sunday and still have not received whether or not my file is accepted or rejected. Anyone else have similar experiences or is this kind of odd?
Hey there, I am having trouble deciding how to approach responsive design. I am a front end developer but I’ve been nowadays I work mainly with php and rails so responsive design is new to me. I manage to start a responsive design web layout and so far it is ok but I am not a fan of full width pages(100% etc). If I were to code the fix website then add some css media queries & convert it to responsive design would that be the way to go or would I just be adding more to my plate?
How do you approach responsive design?
@duotive yes theme does have shortcodes maybe you did not see the page but it is there under shortcodes. The sidebar was longer to show what widgets you could use.
@quickandeasy your one person and im pretty positive many people would buy this theme, trust me
Its ok guys thank you all for your reviews. Honestly my theme is up to par with alot of themes on themeforest. I know many authors that post the ugliest themes but they get accepted. As a web designer/developer we all have different styles and this is my style. Yes I can create something more minimal but that’s not me and that’s not my style and I’m not going to change it up for no one. Though you all say it has a lot of work to be done I really disagree. With the rise of css3 why use gradients and why does every theme has to look like a blog. Ill take my theme elsewhere but I want to thank you all for taking the time out to look at it and critique it.
Note when looking around TF all of the themes look alike do I have to make my theme look like a blog?
