I need to license a song similar to “Who Let The Dogs Out?” by Baha Men. Not a parody just a track in the same style, beat, feel, etc. Anybody got anything?
You’re lucky, every track I’ve submitted gets the same copy-and-paste explanation as to why it wasn’t accepted. Then I listen to the “top tracks” and don’t understand why my music hasn’t been accepted. Then I think about my the dozens of games and 100’s of videos I’ve made music for and then I really wonder why my tracks haven’t gotten accepted yet…I think it’s because I’m an American :/
I am an American, I have had over 120 files accepted between my 2 accounts. I have had a few soft rejects also. So I don’t believe the Aussies are blocking us out. I read your other thread and I must say you really just don’t get the site. This is a great community of composers from all over the world. I really enjoy listening to other’s tracks and have actually made a few friends.
I just wanted to say to my reviewers I did not know we couldn’t use our names as tags. I thought I was pretty up on the rules for uploading. So my apologies. Thanks for your hard work.
I was able to do that a while back. I hope you have better luck with support than I have lately
New to me, but not 12 million others. Thanks for the post.
My first thought is I would find it helpful.
,there are tracks where obviously the author has not listened to it thoroughly before submitting it because there is a glaring mistake, or 30 seconds of silence at the end of the track. Again, yes, these are mistakes, but if everyone were to stop and think “Do I really understand the upload instructions?” maybe this could help? So, a question to all, do you really understand the upload instructions?
I recently had a file rejected because of 20 or 30 seconds at the end. Between my 2 accounts I have uploaded over 100 files. Even with my uploading experience I made this silly mistake. I felt pretty dumb. I also wanted to send an apology to my reviewer.
Maybe when you get to the sales level you desire and some else asks this same question your reply can be, "..it helps to have a semi naked attractive woman as an avatar."
Just kidding, good luck and blessings on your work.
I hope that in the future if certain authors abuse the html code that AJ will not disable that too. Many of us depend on these features to generate sales. I would hate to see just text like the other sites have. AJ has something unique as far as the “look” goes. This worries me a little.
