For some reason it has always been like this, as far as I know. I once spend 10 minutes or something doing the quizes on all the different market places, in case I wanted to upload to those
I don’t think it’s a problem that really needs fixing.. it’s a helpful reminder to authors when they join in on another marketplace. For the (semi-) experienced author it is a matter of a few minutes, but it does stop the complete know-no’s from spamming their files all over the marketplaces.
Invites only come from Google and you need to sign up to throw your name in the hat.
How does one go about signing up and thus throwing one’s hypothetical name in a similarly hypothetical hat?
The more I use the new design the more I like it
+1. It really took some getting used to, but I’m starting to like it more and more.
It’s great for buyers, though. They can now pick an item and find a few to go with it. I do doubt if it’s worth the negative factors authors are experiencing because of this “feature”
I updated mine last night! And I love it!
The bright blue goes really well with that white scythe of yours
Since we’re on the topic of authors, check out my new username. LOL .It’s difficult to critique a file without actually using it. Instead I think we should brainstorm how to get more buyers to rate.I think eBay has the best rating system. After purchasing an item, there will be a new link in the buyers dashboard which will say I need to leave feedback for 1 item – Then obviously you will want to rate so you can get rid of the link off your dashboard. Pretty cool. It works.
A possible downside of this would be that people would randomly rate files, simply to get rid of that link. It sure is a tough problem, making the hasty buyers rate our items!
I do agree that something needs to be done about this, though!
Grats! That’s surely quite a lot of sales
plop? There was only one thing i could think of when you said thatLOLplop!! ha ha
I feel so stupid right now
I’ll have to second that I suppose great minds think alike.. yet fools seldom differ..
.. some of the smiley’s seem to have tears under their eyes:
And the seems to have spilled some soup rather than sticking his tongue out. Also, isn’t the tongue supposed to be ‘in the cheek’, according to the famous English saying: ‘with a tongue in the cheek’?
I suppose you do make a point, though, Lance. These smileys are extremely unobstructive with their ‘muted’ colors, while still looking quite sharp. But yeah, the soup thing really gets to me.
EDIT : See what I mean?! <— that’s not a tongue! Soup, I tell thee!
