Sorry to hear about potential purchase issues. When you encounter or get reported a bug in the purchase process, that’s definitely something we want to investigate, but to be able to do that we need as much of the following information as possible:
- what item you (or your buyer) were trying to buy (item name, ideally ID number in the URL and/or author username)
- what account you (or your buyer) were trying to buy it from (username)
- approximate date and time (with timezone, the more precise the more likely we’ll be able to track down what happened)
- what error you were getting (a screenshot is even better)
You can send your reports to https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
Don’t hesitate to send us the reports anyway even if you got it working after several attempts. Just like you, we don’t want anything getting in the way of buying things on Market. Thanks!
+1 – it’s about time for a change. Let’s try and make this the most +1 replied to thread in the history of Envato please everyone. See if we can eventually get noticed.
I’m not sure why you think that we haven’t noticed or recorded your feedback on this issue? It’s not possible to reply to every single request with a comment that we’ve seen it, but please be assured that we are well aware of almost every issue that has been brought up on the forums, including this one.
There may be plenty of reasons that we haven’t introduced a feature or made a change, and we think and plan out every one that we do, particularly ones that have a huge market impact like price changes.
I can understand some of the frustration, but please don’t try and paint us with a brush that we never listen. We have to constantly think about both sides of our market, and yes that means sometimes we have to do things that favour buyers over authors. But that certainly doesn’t mean we’re not listening or haven’t thought about, discussed and researched things before hand.
