Thank you for all your details and your directness I’m not discouraged by this rejection, and I will make as you say something completely new.
I dit not even noticed the “ugly” aspect as you say I need to detach myself to my work and have a more global view when I code.
Thank you again !
My first theme for Themeforest was rejected, I would like to know what it could possibly be wrong and what kinds of things I could improve to progress and to improve myself and my future works. Here’s the preview link : http://preview.max-jacob.net/andalusite/ Here’s the reviewer message :
Unfortunately your submission Andalusite – Responsive Multi-Purpose Template isn’t ready for ThemeForest and cannot be resubmitted as it did not meet our minimum requirements for quality and/or marketplace policies. In order for submissions to be considered for sale they must be of high aesthetic and technical quality, unique to our library and cannot be in violation of Envato’s policies. Please note the “isn’t ready for Themeforest” sentence. What do you think that means ?
Any feedback would be granted appreciated Thanks !
I’m currently making a PSD Template and I’m wondering if it will add a plus-value to add the comptability with Slicy (a nice exporting layer elements tool). To do that, I just have to name the layers such as file names with extension. But I don’t know if a lot a designers uses this tool ? Is it worth it ? What do you think ?
Edit : if you don’t know what Slicy is, you can get more informations here : http://macrabbit.com/slicy/ Don’t forget to come back to answer to my question haha
