Do we get bonus points if we like the Queen even if we’re not from the UK ?:P
Thanks for the answers! They’re much appreciated.
My question is: Could I set my prices for my items ? So let’s say that the team has decided that my item would be $5, but what If I wanted it to be $2 or $3 ?
Could this be done? I’d appreciate a clear answer from a staff member or somebody who has tried before.
I was 12 when I started.
Age is not a problem, just keep learning. I’d suggest first trying it out on crowdsourcing (Even if it’s the worst thing to do, crowdsourcing as it is now is bad.) and build up experience, then switch to a more ‘professional’ environment.
Dribbble – the way to go. Why? Looking at gorgeous and beautiful design sets your mind to do such designs, unconsicously you’ll do it too, atleast..you’ll try to!
But the key is really keep practicing. More people learn fast, others learn really slow…you’ll find your way anyways.
PS: My past 4 years were spent with 6-7 hours of sleep/night or even less..the rest of the time would be learning about everything I could, so I was on turbo mode. (I kind of only got into web design ~2 years ago, 4 years into design.)
Takes a lot of effort and dedications, that’s for sure.
Thanks!! I am pretty sure that I will release a new update for it ..within this week.. Thanks a lot!
Thanks! Yes, ThemesArena.. I did show some of my work to the ones that I (Hopefully) will be working with.
I was able to find what I needed, can you please guys close the thread? Thanks a lot.
I am looking for a great guy, who has great coding skills but can’t design to team up with and build a strong relationship which will last forever, hopefully! You need to be relaxed, I do not like people that are not relaxed.. Yes, we do work but we are also humans with emotional needs, so.. You’re gonna have a great time with me, as long as you’re cool too !
I am friendly, I am a design addict which will stick up with you untill we finish a project, to make sure everything’s perfect. (Sounds creepy, right ? It isn’t!)
My time is EU-Bucharest Time so please think about it when applying !
You can check up my profile (Altough it is just a piece for now, you can see that I know something and that I am atleast a ‘good’ designer..).
I am looking to develop together with you awesome Wordpress Themes! I can stay up to 10-15 hours a day, working on this and I do not take holidays, not that many.. So I’m going to do serious work.
If you feel like you ‘need’ me you can contact me, having Skype is a must!~
Please use the built-in e-mail system that’s on my profile to contact me, I’ll show you some more of my work there, but I think that this piece that I have on graphicriver speaks for itself!
Anyways, I hope I’m going to find the great developer which I will team up with and become ‘best sellers’.
Thanks for reading and I hope I’ll ‘get’ somebody.
@Moldor: hey, it is very easy to edit ur description, u really dont have to bother the support team for that. here, follow the following steps, u should be good to go. all the best.[let me know if it was helpful for you.]
Wow mate..Thanks a lot for the effort ! I figured it out now, thanks a lot.
The elements aren’t aligned on the pixel grid after resize, they are between pixels like the others said. This causes the anti aliasing.
You simply need to realign them on the pixel grid which you can do in a number of ways. You can move the vector/anchor points, use snap to guides/grid, transform + nudge while zoomed in, edit the x/y while transformed, etc etc.
Example image. Max zoom with pixel grid on. Top two shapes are on the grid and perfect, lower two are between pixels and anti aliased.
You can make pixel perfect designs but you can’t really prevent someone else from messing it up!
Oh my god ! I used the grid to resize it..Anddd baaang! Pixel Perfect Elements which keep their shape even after they’re resized.. Thanks a lot, thanks a lot!! If there was a way to thank you enough for this.. I would go that way..Thanks a lot!
