Oh, and in your navbar, the sliding background doesnt change width for the element your hovering over like other similar scritps i’ve seen. You may wanna look into them because Contact Us fits in very tightly.
Your content sits too high and covers the button in the scroller area.
Which font are you refering to, museo or lucida sans?
And no, search isnt a major feature to be honest. I just felt like the footer needed a feature, and with a blog being included, it seemed worthwhile.
A large search in the footer worked for Elliot Jay Stocks i figured =)
Thanks, keep the comments coming.
Any thoughts are helpful thoughts =)
Monitoring as in Google Analytics style monitoring, or something else?
Yeah, I have aligned stuff perfectly yet, and hadnt seen the typo, thanks.
As for the design, I’m using Museo, and Lucida Sans. Lucida sans may be switched for a slightly kinder looking font.
As for the red, what do you think could be done with it to look less harsh?
I’m working on my first template for themeforest, a brown portfolio theme, encorporating the use of one other colour, in this example, red.
I’m wondering if anyone can think of any possible improvements that can be made to the template, before I start coding.
Heres a preview of the homepage.
It’d be great to hear back thoughts and improvements. It’s far from perfect I am sure, but I could do with some guidance and points to improve on.
I’d code this design from psd to wordpress for you for $500, or £300, with all the functionability your looking for from the psd.
My working mannerisms mean all html will be commented, and you will be able to check on me at any time during the design process to make sure it is up to your expectations.
