Well, my record is my first sale..
Record, Earned amount: $20.30 Sold amount: $29
++ I just got my first sale on Envato
++ Thank you Envato for the 70%! ^^
By the way, your own “m development” logo is good, nice and simple!
Hahaha thanks! Glad you like it.
Designing logos with marks/emblems is much more fun tho.
Planning to create one soon for myself aswell and also I’m not sure or “Mdevelopment” sounds good here.. It might not sound artistic enough..
Ah well, Mdevelopment is the name of my company..
Thanks for all the feedback people, I do really appreciate that!
@JackHowell: In the file I sent few hours ago (1st Revision) I did sent it seperate from the logo and also in another font, because I wasn’t sure about this font aswell.
The arm of the BodyBuilder is something I removed aswell, so it’s just the bodybuilder, who can be used as a mark itself aswell. ^^
I’ll keep you all updated about these 2 logos and if I’m facing more detail problems.
Hi all ,
2 logos of mine were rejected, reason:
They were too detailed..
Could anyone tell me how a logo can be too detailed, as I personally think the more detail the better?
Here they are:
I simplified them and re-uploaded the simplified versions, thumbs up. But I think it’s a little bit sad if a logo needs to be simplified.
This topic is just to know or other authors also faced the same problem and what should I do in the future, continue making high detailed logos or better stick to the easy logos? This topic is not to argue about the reviewing process.
I like your Idea include some option or extra option like Color Palettes, so buyers will have many option for the Color.
Adding color palettes is not standard I think, but you can include it and also give them tutorial “How To change color” or something like that. All above is the Extra point for your items and should be have good ratings and good sales.
And if you using your own work, like Mockup, you can give them for free include the main file or sell it in GR and offer to them your Mockup.
And also, good support is the pointGood Luck
Ok, thanks for the tips!
Two of my items where these features were included just got rejected because they were too detailed and complex.. :/ Making them less detailed now.
I’m new here, only have 2 logos for sale at this moment, but I’m working on some more ofcourse. Now I finished a logo and also included a color palette, black version, buttons for web usage, favicon and icons with it so it’s not just a logo you buy but it’s like a package.
Doing this takes more time but I’m wondering, is it usefull to the buyers? Because if it is I might do it with every logo from now on..
So please give your opinion about what you think of these extra’s included with a logo, will you ever use them? Do you appreciate it? Or are these extras superfluous?
Is there a possibility that these Color Palettes become a ‘standard’ so you can select it with all the type of files that are in the package? I think it would be great for the logo category if a Color Palette-file type would be added. ^^
Lol it’s funny I just found this topic as few days ago I was thinking exactly the same!
I’m currently working on an Alienware m14x, planning to buy a Macbook Pro, but not 100% sure yet.
