If you’re going to use CSS3 , the biggest thing is to make sure it degrades gracefully. Basically if you’re using -moz-border-radius and don’t set border-radius for when the browser specific hacks aren’t supported anymore, you’ve got a problem.
Just make sure it looks roughly the same, it doesn’t have to be mirror image in every browser.
-moz-border-radius:5px; -webkit-border-radius:5px -khtml-border-radius:5px; border-radius:5px;
If you guys want I can put a tutorial together and post it on my site with a demo and file download. I can’t make a WordPress plugin, but I can show you how i do it.
It’s good practice to always set a width on your inputs and text areas, otherwise they overlap the page and stick out.
I can understand the hacking and fraud reasons, but you guys are making at most 60% off of each transaction.
Hire some more people to review accounts and payouts, your community is growing and you should grow with it.
but will say u guys deserve a lot more for your work as its great stuff!
I wouldn’t complain, you get what a professional or freelance design firm would charge you thousands to do, but all for under forty bucks and we only get a percentage of that.
Hey Vagrant, We have improvements planned to our upload system. If you encounter an error our main advice is to try again. We understand that this can be frustrating but we are working hard to improve the upload system.
Oh, I tried 15 times and then gave up and tried IE8 instead. I knew there was a reason I didn’t un-install it.
@_freshface – It’s under consideration, but we haven’t made any specific plans just yet.Thanks. I think WP price should be increased too, it’s a little underpriced now, but just a little.
@font-face is proprietary to non-commercial fonts, loads quicker and isn’t necessarily cross-browser compatible.
Personally, they’re both more work to make your page pretty but I prefer @font-face.
