I have noticed that a lot of people doesn’t use outline: none; when styling anchors and such.
Just curious what might be the reason not to do that?
Is it causing any issues in different browsers or are people just forgetting?
Thank you for your response.
That is a solution, but I prefer not to have 2 sidebars since that will be confusing for the buyers and I think it looks a little bit unprofessional.
I am trying to insert the sidebar after the content section but the problem is that the content is positioned much higher up than the sidebar.
The problem is that the sidebar is being left alone at the bottom, and when the content or the header gets to tall the sidebar gets pushed to the right. But I want it to be stuck to the left. See example below on how the layout is set up:
I really can’t come up with a good solution on how to solve this. I don’t want to use position: absolute; as that will mess up the layout on different screen sizes.
I am not really sure how I am going to explain this, but I will give it a try.
I am working on a template which has a layout of 4 sections according to the image below.
Currently I have placed the sidebar in the same container as the header, but the result of that will be that when the site is in responsive mode the order will be:
1. Header 2. Sidebar 3. Slider Section 4. Content Section
I want the order to be:
1. Header 2. Slider Section 3. Content Section 4. Sidebar
Another thing that makes it harder is that the header needs to have 100% of height, since the menu is placed in that section and it must be flexible vertically.
Also, regarding the slider section, I want to have content there instead of the slider when on other pages than the homepage which means all content needs to be pushed up to the top. That means that the sidebar cannot be placed after the content.
Could someone please give some advice on how I can solve this? Or how I should think.
I hope you understand what I mean.
I am interested if this is still available. You can check out my portfolio here at Themeforest. Currently working on a new template.

Haha thanks, that solved it!
I am working on a site template but I am encountering a font rendering issue in Safari on the menu. It looks fine on some of the pages but not on all of them.
This is how it looks on a correct page in Safari:
This is how it looks on an incorrect page in Safari:
I can’t figure out what may be causing this since I have tried copying all the scripts from one working page and pasting them onto one that is not working, but the rendering issue still occurs.
Does anyone know what may be causing this?
It looks great in all other browsers.
Did you ever thought of the fact that maybe some great developer also wants to see your work, or maybe even see your work before they contact you?
Well, you should. Just a quick tip!
If you post a link to some ubercool html template or design you might get more replies instead of instantly asking about info and work from others.Good luck!
I forgot to link to my own portfolio here on Themeforest. I also have items on Mojothemes, but I wasn’t sure whether I was allowed to link to them or not.
Anyway, I have found a developer already and any forum moderator can lock this thread.
My name is Anton and I am a 21 year old web designer from Sweden. I am running my own company since 2 years and have 6 years experience in web design. I am currently working full time at an insurance company, but I spend most of the evenings and weekends designing websites.
I have been doing a lot of client work over the years, but now I have decided to spend more time working with templates and themes for ThemeForest.
I am looking for a wordpress developer who wants to partner up.
Please send me a message with some information about yourself, including some of your work.
