Are you allowed to sell chrome/firefox/safari/IE extensions on CodeCanyon? If so, what category would they be under?
Not a ton of features, just a simple, easy to use code editor that you can use from any computer or phone or tablet or whatever.
I launched a project on Kickstarter for a PHP script, but there doesn’t seem to be much interest for it. It is a website that allows you to temporarily host you website/PHP script for free. Is anyone interested or is it kind of a dud project.
You can see a functioning demo here: http://based.club
And the Kickstarter campaign here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1335405006/reuss-simple-project-hosting?ref=nav_search
Would you think this would be better as something to sell on codecanyon as a PHP script or make it free as a website?
Just interested if people would be willing to pay for a broswer. Currently, pretty much the only way browsers make money is through search royalties. Cost would be less thank $5 USD.
I recently created an online code editor that enables you to edit your websites code via FTP from any device with an internet browser. Please check it out: http://childers.com/projects/editr/ . To make an account, you enter the username ‘editr’ and password ‘Ed1ter’. Then, you create an account with a username, password and enter the FTP information for the site you’ll be editing. Then you can log in and edit it. After looking at it, do you think it would be appropriate to put for sale on codecanyon/themeforest or should I sell it without a platform on it’s own site? Please let me know what you think and any feedback you might about editr.
Hi, I’m a frontend html designer and developer and I’m looking to gain some experience. I’m willing to work on projects for themeforest for almost nothing as id like to build my portfolio. I have a great eye for modern/minimal and flat design. Please let me know if you’re interested!
At first, I had the same reaction than Tommus above me, this really doesn’t achieve anything more or doesn’t do a better job than a classic FTP client + code editor workflow.
But I do see interest in it if you are on a computer somewhere, that isn’t yours (so that computer might not have an FTP client + code editor installed), and you urgently need to change something.BUT again, the editor should at least have some type of syntax coloring, because editing it so plainly isn’t interesting at all, I’d rather go through downloading and installing my favorite text editor (Sublime Text, my love) on anyone’s computer.
Underneath the video, it says the text editor shown in the video isn’t the final editor. The final text editor will have syntax highlighting, line numbering, etc.
