Hi, i think that this option could be introduced in a clever way. And only if the sender accept that. Exemple 1: www.dromadaire.com/dromacarte/296_anniversaire/8211/768867a09bfb9aac56beae167e42a3c8 In this example user is asked to subscribe to the newsletter to receive affiliate newsletters. He’s email will be saved and he knows about that.
exemple 2: envoi1.cybercartes.com/envoi/27421/cc/email/ I found this solution much clever, it ask the user if he want to receive notification about the “receiver” birthday (week before it happen) At the bottom there is an option about privacy that user need to select before sending an ecard. Free to him to accept or not.
But the most appreciated option is to add a form like the second example, with option: to send email on a specic day option to add more fields for emails option to subscribe to partners newsletters (affiliation) etc…

I don’t recommand this plugin recommend by intelisoft, it will break your theme, slow down your website by 200% and support is very bad.

Some themes need updates, unless you have +50 peoples testing your work i don’t think that you “authors” build perfect templates.
I started this topic because some authors (not all) don’t respond at all to my questions.
First author : template display badly in IE. (no response) Second author: problem inserting swf file in the template (author said it works fine) seems not. (no response)
So you authors think that this kind of questions related to customization?
I think you should add a rate system to authors for the online support they give back. Some don’t give support at all, some are very helpfull.
