Thanks for the clarification. It’s clear now.
I did it on all places

Hey rojdark! Thank you for your positive feedback. I’m happy I could help out

I have a question because i’m not sure that i understands all this about this Social Channels ! How can be this participation useful for us? And i think that you should share more works from us that we aren’t so popular .
Great question! The current scope of our social media channels is to offer better visibility to great events, milestones, items and success that the community experiences. The easiest way to enable this, would be to follow the channels and bring these to our attention
Second benefit is exposure. We already share a lot of items from each marketplace, while keeping in mind that there needs to be a balance, at all times. We will be sharing more in the future, but again, we need to be made aware of awesome items that are submitted. If there’s one you’re particularly proud about, don’t hesitate to @mention us including a reason for why you think it should be featured (i.e: this is why my item is unique, amazing, to the moon and back great). This does not directly guarantee the item will be featured directly, but even so, I’d say it’s worth a shot, and at least it also shows up with everything else related to our channels
Following you guys on Twitter now @Patchesoft
Hey Patchesoft! Good to hear
Following you guys on facebook and twitter @celestialaeon
Enjoying the content mix so far?
You guys could make something likes “item of the day” on facebook. Each day one item would be nice for subscribers and authors
That’s a great idea! Question of the day for you: how would you balance 8 different types of items in a 7 day week? Also, I’m a bit concerned about reaching saturation point for promotional content in the process… which would negatively impact relevance
Liked your Facebook page a long time ago, I mostly like the interviews / success stories from Envato authors. Really inspiring and push myself.
I wish you could narrow the focus of social channels. Right now I see there are a lot of stuffs involved in just 1 channel.
Btw, are you planning to open the social account on Dribbble.com? I believe this channel is a quite logical for Envato items.Cheers,
Thanks for the feedback! The major challenge with these channels is exactly the one you’ve identified: balance. The same content that may seem relevant to some, is completely uninteresting to others, and as such, needs to be well balanced out with relevant content for them This is also the reason for which you see a lot of different content. It’s tricky, but one can’t sway into a too focused area without risking to affect the rest of the audience.
Regarding your question – no immediate plans, no. Also worth noting, Due to the nature of Dribbble, it doesn’t make much sense to treat it as a social network, when in fact, it’s meant for people to submit their own work in progress, through their own accounts. Hope this makes sense
What about other social networks such as Instagram or Pinterest? For example I’ve followed @insideenvato on Instagram but I’m not sure if it’s your official account or not?Cheers,
Hey Iman, I’m pretty sure it’s official
I just need to mention this – there are different focuses for each of the channels, the ones I’ve linked to in the first post are strictly Envato Market related, whereas the others are more general. Been considering for a while whether Pinterest/Instagram would be a good idea for the Market side, but seeing as they’re very visual-centric, it might not be the case. Will have a think about it! Thank you.
I follow Envato on Twitter since a long time. The communication is good. Always fresh and interesting news. It made me discover the CodeCanyon HTML5 Ad contest which I joined
On Facebook I’m following Envato since some months. I was surprised to see that they reacted to posts of mine on my own Facebook page, just because I mentioned them.Thumbs up from me
Thank you for your feedback Glad you’ve found those posts useful btw. Oh, and mentioning us is a sure way to get our attention In the future, depending on the quality of the posts and several other criteria, there might even be some direct sharing to increase exposure. Positive feedback such as the one you just provided only helps us better understand what we’re doing right, and should perhaps do more of…
Following/Liking/+1’ing since like always, also subscribed to Envato’s Youtube channel
Glad to hear! Josh has been doing an incredible job on the video-content side of things indeed I can only take credit for sharing some of that awesome content across to our channels
I’m already following all social channels from Envato. It would be great to see some more design related articles on Facebook.
Thank you for this! Our aim was to get a better focus on design from the inside out so to speak. The majority if not all design related content we’ve shared thus far stems from within the community, or is in one way or another connected to its members. This will only further improve and amplify in the following months
liking the social networks! subscribed to every one, thanks contrastblack, doing a great job too! This is probably the best way to stay on top of things here
Thanks a lot! Glad you’re enjoying the experience. We’re constantly trying to improve the balance of the content types we’re sharing, which sometimes proves rather tricky, considering the huge amount of content that’s both worth sharing and sometimes urgent, so your feedback is more than appreciated
Don’t hesitate to shoot over a message on Facebook or @mention
Hey Calin, thanks for the update! I’ve been following Envato on Google+ (my favorite platform) and overall it looks good, but there are quite a few things that could be improved. Since I’m very active on Google+ (via my personal profile), I’d be happy to provide feedback and some practical tips to help make the page a lot better, so feel free to get in touch if you’d like!
Don’t mind if I do! Thank you. We haven’t focused strongly on G+, but it’s something that I’d personally like to improve upon.
