clearcoast saidVery interesting! And I think you are right. VAT and increasing prices seems to be the problem. Thank you for sharing your opion!
This is strange because the number of visitors to the site is the same.
But the sale of a 50% smaller.
not really, not when we are being charged 20% more because of the addition to VAT on top of the already increased pricing of 2014. Sales will fall when prices have increased so much. Don’t matter how you put it, unless Envato cut pricing, sales will continue to fall for most.
The other site (template) site with a monster name are offering 40% off everything at the moment, I just purchased 4 themes. That money would of been spent here before, in fact, I have now spent $800 less this year because of these prices and I asked on my FB and over 600 people have replied they are not buying because of the price.
Shame Envato don't realise, templates are one of the most expensive now (compared to all other sites)
if they cut pricing they would gain more sales. Still, for every 1 who say sales are the same or up, 30 are saying sales are falling. So I know why sales are falling, I have already said before
I would buy themes on Impulse, now I have stopped, I haven’t found one theme since the brilliant Re-Hub that takes my fancy, where as before I can list 10 from the last 2 weeks I would of purchased in the hope that one day one of them would be useful.I don’t think there is anything else to say. It’s over to Envato now, if they want to see sales fall then they need to do nothing, if they care, they will read and act.
corrella saidSo cute- ! It’s always sad to lose a good friend, and animals are always good friends.
This was my second cat But he was run over by a car last summer. I also miss him.
Yes, we all have been very sad, especially my daughter. But much sadder would be a life without any pet
This is my cat Feli, she loves boxes!
Thank you joiaco and mixmedia. I will try both suggestions. Maybe one of them will satisfy the printer
Xiox saidThe problem is, that this file must be printed. And the printer said to me, he can not use my file. I’ve made the protruding objects invisible by using a cutting mask. But the printer wants all objects outside to be removed. I can make a JPG, but he wants an editable EPS. That is the main problem.
Are the pieces outside of the art board? If so I think you can set your save settings so that it only sees what’s inside the art board.
Maybe I’m wrong, but you could use Pathfinder. Create a shape over the areas that you want to cut off, select both objects, then click on the ‘Minus Front’ option in the Pathfinder panel. This should delete the newly created shapes and the artwork underneath it.
Thank you for your help Xiox. This might be the best way, if you only have one or two objects. But I have very much smaller pieces and elements, that should be cutted.
can somebody help me? I have to cut off several protruding elements in Illustrator to make this file printable. I’ve tried it with a cutting mask, but this wasn’t the solutions I needed. What else can I do get a clean solution?
