Overall is a literal word meaning through out the template and not to one specific section like header or footer or slider.
I could see your accepted template is better than the rejected one.
sorry friend I dont think anyone would agree for such a low amount. try if you can get the PSD rights of approved template. even then you need to partner or pay heavily for TF standard Wordpress
Congrats Adam and team. Great work.
Please show your wallet “have wallet??”.
Envato is not a charity to take care of each and every author.
Come on not having a separate queue is not a charity. It is just equal opportunity to grow.
Each one has a strong reason to believe what he says is true, so no point in arguing further.
I have read somewhere that an argument can happen only when a statement is half true and half false. So maybe your point covers half truth.
Stop making suggestions, even if you are right in all possible means, they are certainly not going to get implementedIf it was said in a more fun way I can accept it but if it was on a serious note, my suggestion would be to completely ignore it, unless you speak out nothing is going to change.
So, you won’t hear from me now-onwards making any suggestions rather you will see my involvement in some fun, inspiring threads and helping new authors. Atleast, that brings some happiness to my life after work.
As a friend I expected you to be more strong as an entrepreneur. Why would you change your stance if the result was different from what you expected.
Keep going You rock
FinalDestiny saidone of the basic things here is a new author is in NO WAY affected by elite authors getting timtams or t shirt or 70% of the sales but elite queue will definitely will.
If you want equality, then take it in all things, this isn’t a “I like being equal in this, however, I like my 70% over the 50% earnings too. I’ll also have the timtams and t-shirt please.”.
Going with someone new is almost a gamble.
I agree it is a gamble but that’s how TF started right and also you can see the authors of avada or x theme. they were new authors with just one product at the time of submission but i think the gamble paid off in a big way.
I can’t even imagine the number of submissions designed in MS Paint that are taking the queue while we wait 2 weeks to be reviewed. And they think their design is like the next best thing to happen.
Even for my level I can see the design flaws if its not worth it in a few seconds. I think the MS paint design would have attracted hardly a minute of the reviewer’s time.
And, it seems pretty legit that if you have bigger business / sell more / produce more money, you should be given some incentives and priorities. This is basic business. This is why airlines provide benefits(1st class flights, free stuff, options to reserve seats, change the date, etc) for customers that spend over X$ over a year or in the last few years…. or some old customers of companies get benefits that the ordinary customer doesn’t even dream of.
authors are not customers here they are sellers, I don’t think the same logic can be applied here.
Please stop with the hypocrisy guys.
Just because you cant understand their stand does not mean hypocrisy.
What happened any new response from review team?
How many hours is full time?
Exactly! This is the one main reason. And, this is a pure business decision which Envato has to take whether they want to prioritize their elites or not.
Those incentives are really useful from business point of view.
I cant really understand your point of view. On one hand you are saying that the present pricing of MP themes does not create a level field and favors envato’s business interest and that envato should not claim it is community driven. on another hand you say dividing the community on the basis of elite status is good for their business.
Suppose the US government thinks Ok since google, apple, ms are all established giants let us give them a shortcut whenever they want to start a new business it will be good for faster growth of our country after all they have worked hard to achieve this status. Do you think it would be good.
