Congratulations! The first approval was really super exciting and different. Certainly you will be happy when more items get approved, but it just does’t feel the same. Wish you many sales!
Mine looked the same the moment it was uploaded, and it took 4 days to reach last 20 percent… Anyway it was better than waiting half a month
I just find this interesting…
I always assume that Envato staffs work in Sydney time (please correct me if I’m wrong), and usually my items get approved before dawn(Chinese time), like 1 AM or 2 AM. And I guess the time difference between China and Australia should be around 3 hours(summer time) and 2 hours(winter time).
So…. Reviewers are working at 4 or 5 in the morning?! That can’t happen right?
Congrats! That’s a really good first item. I waited days before my first sale, you are awesome!
Well right now the average time taken for review is some where around 18 – 25 days….but I would say submit a file at least 2 months in advance….
Lets say your file gets reviewed under 18 days….but you get a reject….so you have time to submit again with correction for a updated review of 3-5 days…..Then your files gets approved for sale….
Now your potential Buyer will buy your file…further edit it for His event…Lets say Easter…So even he as a buyer needs time for promotion of the Event for which you have designed….So I think 2 months advance submission seems Good….Hope this helps
Can updated review take that long? Because from my soft rejection experience, updated items always get reviewed within 24 hours, which is pretty amazing.
But I have never taken buyer’s editing time under consideration. Thanks for your advice! Now I have just uploaded a summer party flyer, which I think won’t be late again like my Easter flyer.
Oh I’m sorry, I have started 2 duplicate threads by mistake. Could anybody help delete this?
Hey guys, what do you think is the best publish time for your items? One month earlier than the event? Half a month?
I’m asking this because I think I messed up this time… I know I should be happy that my first flyer got approved, especially when the reviewer was so helpful giving me advice during the process. BUT….who will buy an Ester flyer when it’s so close!
So I wanna ask, from your experiences, an item published how long in advance will get the best sales? THX!
