I’m a web developer but I have been into business not related to computers for almost 3 years already.
I want to go back to web development.
I’ve noticed there are many technologies that emerged for the past 3 years. Like most sites are now responsive. I’m pretty much behind now.
Is there a website that keeps you up-to-date with the new technologies, frameworks and methods of web development?
Any ideas how should I move forward?
I feel like I’m very behind already and regretted that I left web development.
Have a nice day…
Any ideas where to find great images images for slideshow? I just want to put in the nivo slider of a theme I’m currently creating. Any ideas aside from the images from the asset library?
any help would be appreciated.
IT’S UNBELIEVABLE !! IT LOOKS the same…
Maybe it was a significant update..this has happened in the past at least once before. The most recent case I can think of is epicera’s Atlantica or a variation of it.
Whoa whoa whoa there buddy. None of my products have ever been pushed back to the homepage because of an update or any other reason. The situation of Atlantica was completely different, and it was sorted out quite a while ago in a 3,000 word response from myself, which everyone is on the same page about as far as I understand Don’t drag me into this little snafu
I will say that I am eagerly following this topic – I am about to release 2 pretty major updates to my two Wordpress themes, and the knowledge of having them pushed back to the homepage would be nice to know (although I generally don’t advocate this policy as I think it’d be abused).I will also say this: I always update my products at least 4 or 5 times before I let them be. This isn’t because of any incentive that I get (like being shown again on the homepage), it’s because it makes customers happy to know that as new ideas and improvements become available, I will implement them as updates. I’m not sure why any author would take the stance if “Why should I release an update if I’m not compensated for it?”. This kind of mentality leads to irritated buyers and poor ratings. I get it – it’s about the money. But it’s also about making happy, repeat buyers isn’t it?
Whoa! Well said!
