I’m looking for the same thing. Not t-shirts, but the same functionality.
Looking forward to seeing what replies crazymaster receives. Maybe we can pool our resources to get something made that suits our needs.
For smallish non-complex shops with blogs, I like PHPurchase. It’s a wordpress plugin, and still new enough to have some issues, but no additional theming time is required.
Thanks for the good conversation.
There are some really nice looking single page templates available here, but I had been dismissing them because I was concerned about search rankings. Due to the comments above, I have come to the conclusion that I could use these in cases where the chances of getting a good search engine ranking are slim to none (ie – 1 of millions of web developers) and most traffic would be driven to the site from other links, business cards, email, etc.
For all you SEO masters out there. Will a one page site with identical content to a multi page site receive the same ranking in google, etc?
Treat her to a day at the spa if she is not to type to do so herself. Combine that with a handwritten card with a personal message and you’ll be her favourite son. Or, make her a grandmother.
It’s a little wordier than I had hoped, but it works! Thanks altinkum!
Does anyone know of a wordpress tutorial for the end user? By end user, I mean the person I set-up the website for.
I buy a theme, mess around with it, put it online for my client, then I have to tell him (the end user) how to log into wordpress, enter posts, etc. Surely I’m not the first person to require something like this, but I haven’t been able to locate anything….perhaps I’m not searching for the correct thing?
Silly me thought that all templates here would validate, but the latest purchase didn’t (closing divs outside the closing body and html tags). The author said it would be fixed, but that was three weeks ago. Shame on me for not checking before buying.
Right now, I’m looking for a wordpress theme with a black background and without a HUGE image in the header. All black background….not just behind the white text area.
Those sites with large images look great when on display here, but it’s really hard to keep it looking good when you have to drop a crappy client photo in it’s place.
