Has a customer of envato; I’m often intrigued by the status symbol of Envato Authors, utilizing as a way to filter whom I purchase from. Additionally, seeing it has status of stability and long term success with-in the community as a hold.
However, I question….What does it mean, how is it measured by the item I’m purchasing, and is it relevant for the current incremental year.
I ask for the simple clarity for others. The way I interpret it at this moment is as follow:
Internal / external measurement of Gross Sales - ( is that for which marketplace: themes, plugins, videos, audios, graphics, photos….etc) - more granular on themes; is it: elite author of html, psd, WordPress and/or other CMS. - finally, does represent 12 month/ year anniversary of achievement (Not Lifetime Achievement)
I propose the elite author badge; externally represent 12 month upon granted anniversary date & also not calculated based on dollar amount but units sold.
Internally you can keep the same measurements but it’s unfair to customers extranally to represent a current status that may have been rewarded 5yrs ago.
Congrats @uouapps in Celebrating Now 2500 Sales.
Well I don’t personally have a tattoo nor intend to. It does not mean I dislike them…I think it more in context of what type and location.
ImanGM said@ImanGM is defiantly in need of Envato Rehab he’s seriously on here all the time.
Yeah! And I know all the badges
I completely agree with @julianprice. I’m addicted to this community too. I check my dashboard as an author every few minutes and maybe it’s OK since I want to check my comments and income of course.
But when I refresh the forums every few minutes, it simply means I’m addicted to itEdited: Oh, I’ve lost my “Forum Superstar” badge right now and I feel pain in whole my body… lol
You need serious help my friend LOL’s
Hahaaa, i love your subject title! I can’t go twenty four hours without checking in, sometimes i domit three or four times a day… And the saddest part is that the rush from making a sale, which in the early days lasted a whole day, now lasts only half an hour or so. Addiction is indeed the right word for it!
I thought I would have some fun because I have serious issue Living on The Envato MarketPlaces and officially acknowledge the first step that I have an Addiction.
It may not be strange for others because you are Authors but I am just a Customer.
Have a great Sunday and if you know of EA groups let me know.
