I have issues with the way this was handled. These two themes were both themes which I had purchased because of their style and functionality. They were at one point approved by themeforest and then removed without any notification to the developer nor the MANY people who had purchased the theme with the intent of receiving ongoing updates through the Themeforest network as is a feature customers expect when buying a theme. This is extremely poor business practice on behalf of Themeforest. If you don’t like a theme after you have approved it, other steps should be made to ensure that those customers who spent money to purchase a theme are protected.
First, notification, is an absolute MUST.
Second, a change in policy should affect future themes and older themes should be grandfathered into a policy.
It is bad business practice to do this to both your customers and developers.
I’m no longer impressed with the concept I had once thought so highly of from Themeforest.
Infuse, I sent information with further details. I look forward to hearing your response.
Thank you, Kimberly
I don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on this request, but a reasonable offer would be considered. I am mostly wanting to have some additional shortcodes dropped into the one template and then change the styling on two fairly basic things (the blog main page layout, I want full width post images or small side post images for the blog listing instead of just the two column layout offered) and I want something removed on one of the gallery pages.
I am looking for someone who can afford-ably combine two wordpress templates that I have purchased. I want the core functionality of one, but add in a tiny bit of features from the other.
I just haven’t been able to find the perfect combination of features.
Anyone interested or know the contact information of someone who may be?
I would be happy to send some reference material, I was just hoping to find out if anyone was even interested in that arrangement. If people are, I will definitely be interacting with them further before any type of agreement is made.
This is mostly just to see who is interested in doing the code work if I do the design work.
I am a designer who would like to co-design a theme. I would like to do the graphic elements of the theme for 25% of the profit and would like someone to do the function portion for 75% of the profit. If you are interested in learning more, respond here. I will be communicating directly with any takers to see what will work best. I have some ideas that I think would sell well, but just need someone to code them.
The division of profit is negotiable. I recognize that the coding portion can require a bit more effort than the design portion to get it just right. Especially since I want the back end to be extremely accessible and easy to use.
