Emil it seems to me your English is not very good. I don’t want to offend you, but are you sure the grammar in the item description and in the help files is good enough? The logos are absolutely not unique, but most of them have a good quality.
It’s just too simple. Not enough attention to the details. The gradients on the black one are very bad. To me personally, the style seems outdated. You need to work a lot more to get accepted.
It’s not bad in terms of quality. But a book with Economics text… I think it needs to be more creative. There are plenty of open-book type logos in the marketplace.
Also, yes you can improve the fonts in some cases.
I made a few points on the design, but overall the typography is NOT good. You can’t use this font all the way because it just looks bad for blocks of small text.
Try combining different fonts or changing the font completely. In terms of design, colors and whitespace it’s not so bad, but if you want to get it into the PSD Templates category it needs to be much much better, just improve it.
You can greatly improve the typography. If you make the typography pixel perfect, the template will get a whole different look. Use mathematics when it comes to typography and whitespace. Consistency in precise pixel numbers produces professional looking design.
Improve the graphics. For example the lightnings coming from the speakers look bad.
Also reconsider this preview image. You’re selling a flyer not a box, why go with this 3d shadow effect? Just a tip, peace.
Don’t think so much, just go into the graphic editor and “polish” it as the reviewer said. You can always find bad spots in your design. I hope it gets accepted.
Overall, I think your theme is really good. There’s just a few typography issues I can see. The good think is that the style is consistent.
I’m not sure if it will get into PSD Templates, but with some work it will surely get into Site Templates.
No, it will get rejected in my opinion. Improve the typography (a lot), these 3d shadows are very old fashioned and overused, you’re style is inconsistent, which is not good too. The top menu is very bad in my eyes, because the logo and the menu fonts are very oversized and it just doesn’t look good.
I don’t say it’s bad, but there is much more work to be done before it gets accepted.
The quality is good and all, but it kinda just looks “ugly” to me. I don’t mean it’s not designed well but the idea just doesn’t look good at all. That tree that is all rounded and the thing with corners going out of it? I guess it’s roots or whatever?
What I mean is you should work on the shape.
In terms of design the back of the card (the dark part with the logo) is fine. The front side, however has some problems in my eyes. I don’t like how to icons look. These icons don’t seem to fit the overall design in my eyes. Try filled icons. The other thing are the fonts. The subline below John Doe is basically unreadable. Try to use fonts above 8pt when doing Print Design items. Same goes for the details.
Overall, even if you improve the quality the item is too simple and I know that’s what you were aiming to, but there’s too much items in the marketplace these days and only creative pieces of work are accepted in it.
