IMHO, the thinness of X as compared to the letters makes it seem less obvious and more like just a design element.
Furthermore, the letters, too, seem a little difficult to comprehend owing to their arrangement.

I guess my initial thoughts are the same as everyone else but there is one thing that I am most excited about. In Mountain Lion, if a page in Safari was super loaded with stuff, the smooth inertial scrolling would stutter. It no longer does. Same with Mail in case of huge threads of emails.
This is a freaking huge improvement which, in itself had been an entire new OS version. (Ok, I exaggerated there a bit but if you have felt it too, you would know what I am talking about.)
Yes, I am really curious to see how the Iris Pro (the only GPU on the new base MBPr) stacks up with the Nvidia GT 650M (dedicated GPU on the previous gen MBPr).
