I really like one layout from template. Maybe is better to change the default home page to another one. The “wall home page” look way better then default one, and the first impression count. You need to work a bit and on paddings and typography, in special at headings and submenu.
a small bug i think. on the item support settings, if the email field is empty, the contact form is hidden, even it say will be used the default email address.

Many WordPress themes use for live demo presentation third party plugins (jetpack for instance) what give error in validations, even theme is 100% valid.
that kind of thinking affect on long term the work of all authors. actually, the “template” name lose the meaning.
