While I was finishing my second themeforest theme, I was wondering what kind of people will buy themes from themeforest. Will it be people with absolutely zero skills in (X)HTML/CSS, Wordpress, etc. Or will it be people who already know a thing or two about (X)HTML, Wordpress, etc.
Now that I’ve finished my second theme, I want to start on the documentation for both themes. Do I have to make it “noob”-proof, like a step-by-step walkthrough on how to replace the placeholder logo/menu/whatever with their own logo/menu/whatever?
Or would a simple text-file with an explanation of all the PSD ’s (for logo’s, menu’s, etc.) suffice?
I wanted to buy one of the available theme’s as an example but I guess PayPal screwed up so I’ll have to wait till the weekend’s over…
Yeah, I would like to know how that works too.
I’ve almost finished coding my first theme. I’ve made a regular version (XHTML/CSS) and a Wordpress version. Would I have to send them both in seperately?
Just something I noticed; When I go to a theme’s page (where you can buy a theme or leave a message), the little brown triangles are gone.
A picture makes it a little easier to explain
Almost done coding my first theme (XHTML/CSS and Wordpress)
Keep up the good work guys, looking forward to ThemeForest’s big opening!
