Apparently flash can read quite a bit of different audio formats. The trick is not using the Sound class. You have to use net stream. I ended up using M4A and they worked perfectly
so looks like I can load external wav files with the help of third party classes. Wav is too big though. I think I am going to convert the mp3s I have to m4a and use netstream to play them. I am having an issue with mp3s loading externally on my clients old windows based cash registers in their stores. M4V files play just fine, so fingers crossed that m4a works too
the only one i know of is mp3. Is that it?
$400-$600 was the norm for me for a while on activeden. It has since declined and to be honest I am not on here much nowadays which drastically effects sales in my opinion
bfintal saidCan you tell me more about cloud thing? What is this?
I prefer to have total control of my hosted server.. so I opted to get RackSpace’s cloud server. I think I’m paying around $20 a month. Their support is awesome as always.
Cloud servers distribute the files you upload to their servers around the world so they are living on multiple machines. Say someone from Hong Kong pings your site and RackSpace’s closest location to that user is Tokyo. It will route the user to the machine located in Tokyo versus going to say a Los Angeles based machine which will result in a faster experience for the users. I use this at my work and it is awesome.
Does anyone know of a flip book that will support 1000+ pages? I’ve tried a couple and the ones I do load all the pages into memory thus causing a significant drop in performance.
It would be nice if you could set a page buffer or something of like 10 where it keep the next and previous 10 pages in memory and as you turn the buffered pages will load/remove themselves.
on your image actually only font for $$$ is not crappy
One suggestion to staff. http://0.envato-static.com/images/homepage_banner.jpg is same at all marketplaces (except tutorials marketplace). Maybe that image should be changed? Just to make better impression for new unregistered users…
