That’s great, but I also check the site daily and buy a few projects a week and I run into this problem a lot. Just because you aren’t experiencing issues doesn’t mean other people aren’t.
Some days it works pretty well for a short time, most days nothing will load after a few minutes of waiting. Maybe there is an issue with people on Macs? I’ve tried it on a macbook pro, imac and mac pro (Safari, Firefox, Chrome) and all have the same issue.
Whenever I try this site I also check to make sure all other sites work fine (youtube, vimeo, etc). My speedtest shows 36Mbps Down and 6.5 Mbps up.
The previews seem to be loading normal again, but this morning and last night they were struggling to load at all (which happens far too often for me).
I know this has been brought up in the past, but we really need a better video player for the previews. The current one is incredibly buggy and slow…or maybe the slowness is a server related issue? Either way, I tried watching 7 different previews yesterday and after 3-4 minutes waiting on each one I gave up. I’ve got incredibly fast internet so I know that’s not the case, can anyone from the Envato staff shed some light on this?
Thanks. It works, but shouldn’t a basic search feature be available?
I’ve been getting this message on Themeforest, Audiojungle, Videohive and GraphicRiver all day today:
“We’re sorry, our search servers appear to be offline at the moment.
This probably means we’re tweaking something and they’ll be back soon, with better results than ever before!”
I need to get some files, but I can’t search for them. Please fix it!
Does anyone know what happened to the cool animation that had a bunch of tanks, helicopters, rendered in 3D with a white color scheme and earth flyover? I was looking to buy it this week, but I can’t find it anywhere. Was it removed for some reason?
Is there any chance Envato could make those preview download links use the ID as the song name? I get clients sending me the previews they like..but they are all named ‘preview.mp3’ when they download them and many people wouldn’t know to change the name to the right ID.
I’d have to advise against mediatemple. Right now I have 15 sites that are completely down and have been for over an hour. This happened last year for over 4 hours and I had over 50 sites (across 7-8 accounts) that were down. It seems they have had tons of problems with the GS product.
I’ve since started migrating all of my clients over to bluehost and in 2 years I haven’t had a single issue.
I second ADesign1’s proposal for a MODx section!
I’ve been using MODx on several of my sites and it is an extremely powerful CMS . I really love wordpress for simple websites, but when it comes to bigger sites and higher paying customers, MODx is my only choice.
ADesign1 and I can’t be the only people using MODx…I know there are several others in this community who would really benefit from this kind of addition to ThemeForest.
