Some things to keep in mind with regards to this week specifically…
1. It’s the first week after US taxes are due. Many companies (especially CPA firms) might take the entire week off after working overtime to file taxes.
2. Recent WordPress themes/plugin security concerns may impact WordPress sales.
Just some things to consider as a possible cause. Let’s hope next week picks up
The most effective method I’ve found is asking the user to rate the theme after I resolve any issues the they have in my support forum. Happy customers tend to give happy ratings
Nice! Love these niche competitions. Really fun seeing new stuff authors bring to the table.
It has to do with the checkout, you have to add billing address now before purchasing if you haven’t already so that’s most likely going to cause some hesitation.
Yeah, I mentioned this in another thread and moderator said “false causality”, which is a ridiculous thing to say IMO. I didn’t feel like arguing the point further, so I let it go.
Of course sales will fluctuate for numerous reasons, but I’ve been here long enough to notice when something appears off. I’m sure you feel the same.
Just for the sake of providing some information/feedback, I’ve noticed a dramatic reduction in conversions following these changes to the checkout process being implemented. I haven’t actually gone through the checkout process myself, so I don’t have first-hand knowledge of everything that changed or what the issue might be. I just notice there’s been a major change this week and felt it more than just a coincidence.
If there’s a better place where I should be sharing this feedback, please let me know.
Holy hell there’s some amazing skill going on here! Feels good being selected alongside such talent!
This is sweet. Should be our Halloween logo if you ask me
Thanks! I’m fine with that
Looks Awesome! I also recognized the poor guy being eaten hahaha xD
Wow, very clever, Chris… Not just the Envato logo you’re playing with there I see… Also, nice to know you can always become an illustrator if the Web design career doesn’t work out, some mad skills to pay the bills right there, great job!
Thanks Scott! I actually first started selling illustrations on GraphicRiver before I ever sold anything on ThemeForest. I much prefer drawing as a hobby than as a profession, though
This is criminal … hahaha very nice work
Probably not as popular as Mike Tyson, but Daylight is the first video game to be powered by Unreal Engine 4. It’s a survival horror video game developed by Zombie Studios for Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4.
